Mend Flesh and other pet feedback

  • Mend Flesh is currently a 16 point skill that has 3 gear options that give bonus points to it, and 2 of those are weapons. The remaining gearing options are level 75 or below equipment that have no Mythical counterpart.

You can see for yourself here.

Most of the options when you search for +to Mend Flesh are for Occultist relics that happen to have a Mend Flesh bonus (why?).

If we’re going to play with the new Mend Flesh, can we have it as a 10 point or 12 point skill with values adjusted (and maybe a Mythical version of Mark of the Nymph)?

  • Speaking of weapons, Mythical Fiendblood Spellblade is the only source of Acid to Chaos conversion for pets and there’s only 30% conversion. Where weapons are now having multiple 100% conversions, this seems very out of place.

  • With pet Physical resistance sources being cut across the board, the few places that still have it end up becoming mandatory. I’m talking about Typhos devotion, which makes taking the Mogdrogen route much more pivotal than before. I’d like to request a new source of pet Physical resistance alongside the blue/yellow route as if Ishtak is going to be the much slower option than Mogdrogen, at least have it be the tanky route. Maybe give a 2% pet Physical resistance to Lion, a small percentage to Tree of Life (or even Korvaak if we want to be spicy), nothing that would revert the previous changes, but make the devotion route a little more interesting.

  • Mythical Runebrand Leggings - I’ve had pet builds that had 50% overcap on Stun resistance and basically no other tertiary resistances. Can the pet Stun resistance on this item be replaced with Freeze resistance? It gives the player both Stun and Freeze resistance, so this change shouldn’t throw other pet builds out of whack.

  • This is a repeat question from other threads I’ve done, but why does Call of the Grave give Acid bonuses if there’s no gear that gives +Acid damage and Call of the Grave bonuses? There’s currently several slots that give +Chaos damage, but nothing for +Acid damage. Rotdrinker’s Crest, Rotmender’s Hat (with some Acid damage bonuses) and Rotmender’s Ring are some decent options to place CotG bonuses.

There’s a lot to test out there, but these are the sore thumbs that came out immediately after trying out the patch throughout the playtest.

Personally, for Familiar, I would prefer something to reduce cooldown (or lower CD by default) on the Familiar itself and burst summon to the birds with Trinkets set.

+1 to everything else.

Also, 100% Elemental > Chaos conversion for pets is pretty much only on a single item as well and still no Vitality > Aether (Unless it was added and I missed it).
