As the title says, I don’t know if any other players have noticed this. In the game, I’ve only seen merchants selling shields, but I haven’t seen merchants buying shields. Is this an intentional design or a game bug?
After you build an economic monument shields can show up on the premium deals and you can sell them then.
I’d guess it’s intentional, there are plenty of other goods that aren’t sellable(bows, arrows, firewood, barrels, most food), and goods that are only sellable on premium deals(preserved veg, eggs, pastries).
I got it, thanks!
There’s a monument with benefits?
All of the monuments have something that’s a net benefit. I find economic to be the most useful.
Econ monument allows for 1 premium trade per year at much higher prices and increases capactiy on storage buildings. Most notably vaults which go from 25k storage to 125k storage.
Mil monument increase veterancy gain by 100%.
Civ monument decreases time to build or relocate, and I guess the extravagant decos can be a benefit aesthetically.
That capacity increase is huge! It allows your Town Center + Trading + Gold fortress to hold so much more (which is how you defend your most valuable things from Raiders, while giving them maximum incentive to attack that well-defended area)
The wiki, last I knew, was horribly out of date and the owner/admin was no longer active?
