Been a while since I played Grim dawn, so I’m wondering how the meta has treated 2H ranged builds for the past few months.
As whole ranged isn’t strong in that meta.
Some builds are still viable like Ultos Sparkthrower or ranged/hybrid Primal Strike. Also chaos ranged /doom bolt as AoE should be good. Probably one or two Fire Strike builds and also Hellborn RF Paladin. These are all second tier builds. First class ranged builds probably don’t exist.
Any promise for 2H ranged at present or is it all about the dual wields?
Honestly I think DW ranged is in even worst state
As is the case for melee, unless the 2h weapon has exceptional bonuses you’re already missing out on a lot vs dual wielding. Ranged has issues producing omnidirectional AoE which causes issues in SR and crucible where you’re liable to get swarmed. Gearing for most ranged options is lackluster or simply absent.
