MI helms should get the belt treatment too

Monster Infrequent - redesigned bonuses on all Monster Infrequent Belts. Each belt now grants +1 to a mastery and offers conversion.

This is a significant change as skipping a class belt often wasn’t possible before since the loss of +1 to a mastery was too severe.
Now you can use these reworked belts if the conversion doesn’t clash with your main damage types, and they are another source of potential stun resist from Thunderstruck.
Even a simple Impervious affix could save many augments allowing you to get the +30 DA ones, or to go for other res overcap instead, which makes tackling SR less dangerous.

All that is good and all, but something I’ve brought up before is that MI helms are rarely worth using since it covers an even more important slot.
Helms not only also offer +1 to one or two masteries, but they are often part of a set as well.
The current MI skill modifiers just can’t compete with that, but if they were to have +1 to a fitting mastery they could be worth using.
Either as a stopgap until you get your endgame set helm, or just for the skill modifier and other stats.

The skill modifiers by themselves generally aren’t that interesting right now, but along with a +1 mastery it could be enough of a deal sweetener.

+1 on this

Though the green maffia will hate this
