Hello,
There seems to be a problem with the GOG patching files, it’s nothing major or game-breaking just a minor thing that maybe worth mentioning. I have the GD League installed in the GOG version of the game. Obv after the latest patches, all users participating had to update their game accordingly. So I went to GOG (I don’t have GOG Galaxy, I use the manual backup file on GOG site) and I downloaded the patch to update the game. However, after I applied the update & tried to access the league via the custom exe, an error popped up basically saying I don’t have the right game version. I entered the game the old fashioned way and in the bottom right corner, the game version seemed to be the latest one, however the custom league exe didn’t recognized that. This happened to me both on v1.2.1.3 and v1.2.1.4. I will upload screens (the log doesn’t say anything useful other than ‘File size mismatch. Server expects game version…’).
I imagine it has something to do with the GOG patching file system which handles things differently compared to Steam. Or maybe is just the offline backup file systems… Maybe other users playing the league with GOG version could also shed some light on the matter and confirm if it’s indeed a GOG thing or just an isolated case.
Anyway, can confirm the problem was solved by completing uninstalling the game + dlcs + packs and installing back again this time using the updated v1.2.1.4 game files.
