mistborn talisman and beronath shard

Hi guys,

Is it really worthwhile to farm for either of the two for my clvl 62 blademaster?

I dont have neither formulas nor ingredients :frowning:

Can i farm those in veteran?

Shall i farm this troll on veteran for recepie?

Which would be better - mistborn or betonath?

It’s very much worth it. You can certainly farm the mistborn recipe in veteran but the shard is probably going to come from elite or ultimate. Farming the troll is the best way I believe for the mistborn recipe.

Which is better, well, mistborn is technically weaker then the shard but you can start using it at level 25 as opposed to 55 for the shard. So the answer is, both are good. Mistborn is excellent throughout normal and the shard is excellent for the higher difficulties.

Im clv 62 begining eliet /lots of BoC/ so forget mistborn now?

I have killed the troll 200 times now and no luck :frowning:

Both are better than Cadence, so you better use them :slight_smile:
Beronath is better because it doesnt occupies a relic slot. Mitborn Talisman has quite poor stats, compared to legendary relics.

The Troll simply refuses to drop it :confused:

It isn’t anywhere near that rare - are you more than 10 levels higher than the troll? I’m betting he is too low to drop it.

A toon clvl 38 will be ok to farm him for the talisman? Or 41? I have set adide earlier savedgames.

EDIT : i got the recepie on my 2nd run with 41 clvl toon.

if it hadnt been 4 your adive i would probably farm him 2000+…

Congrats, and you are welcome.

The only hard part of crafting that Talisman is the weapon - and you want to farm the same troll boss to get one btw. Although you can use your level 60 for it if you want. Mistborn relic should last you until you actually get the recipe for the Shard btw (no other relic gives anywhere near that much DPS)

You can buy that weapon from vendor. Is it so hard??? Price isnt high either.

Took me longer to get the weapon than the blueprint the first time (still like 4 runs in total though). Where can you buy the weapon though?

the weapon is the easiest part as during my 200+ futile runs I got at least 15+ those green maces and lots of yellows.

I have just crafted my Mistborn Talisman :slight_smile:

It will replace Calamity…

Could you please provide any insights as to The Shard?

btw, i got +12% aether dmg as completion bonus. What other bonuses can I roll? as this one totally sucks for my Blademaster…

In Blood Grove, there is a secret vendor. Just run a bit down from rift and search for hidden passage.

I got 3% offfensive ability :slight_smile: I guess it is better than merely +8% pierce dmg as my pierce modifier is already 602%.

Its amazing how much my dps went up, from almost 6k to more then 10k :slight_smile:

I assigned assassin mark to it, as earlier it was assigned to WPS from DB - Belgothian.

When and where can i start farming for The Shard ?

Shard is from Ultimate (perhaps end of elite?) Hero and higher loot sources only as far as I know. Perhaps even Boss and higher only.

I got my shard recipe from the chest guarded by Gutworm in elite. So there should be no need to go into ultimate for it, although it is a purple recipe so I think the ultimate legendary drop bonus will help (I’m not sure).
