I am getting real sick and tired of looking for this damn thing. I’ve been doing boss run after boss run, leveled 3 different characters through normal, and I have yet to get this fucker to drop! It is completely hampering me from going to the next difficulty and it was a struggle trying to complete everything without it! Anyone got any tips to finding it? As it stands, there ought to be a damn vendor that sells these plans!
Mistborn Talisman is an Empowered Relic.
It can be acquired only by crafting. A Blueprint is required, which can drop from Voldrak, the Destroyer in Smuggler’s Pass.

There’s your problem. You’ll get more recipe drops on harder difficulties.
Try a different build which isn’t reliant on a recipe you don’t have for breaking into elite, and then go back and continue your troll build once it drops. There are lots and lots of character builds which can complete Ultimate without ever needing that particular relic.
Actually, I had the same problem trying to get this blueprint. So I started to farm on epic, but then a realized that this blueprint is level 28. Second run on this boss on normal and I got the blueprint.
i confirm it’s the solution. not sure if it drops only there but it’s definitively the good place to catch it. from my experience it should take no more than 10 normal Voldrak runs to get it (got it at my third try).

I farmed this relic from Voldrak last week on normal difficulty. Took maybe around a dozen runs to get it. But they’re fast to do so not a huge task.

Yeah I got it in 5 runs or so on normal difficulty. Just make sure you aren’t overleveled when you farm him.
I loaded my game up and on the first try that boss drops the blueprint. Just, wow…
Now I gotta farm a metric ton of Ectoplasm.
If you’re not aware spam farming spined cove is the way to go for that. Plus you can check for a Moosi spawn @ crumbling watch as well while doing it
Fairly sure the drop rate for that place is no longer as high it was before, and RNG is RNG. Better to do a quick run of SoT really.
