Edit: The DLL files have been updated to version 1197 and have been tested working.

I introduced Grim Dawn to my best friend and his 3 sons. The 5 of us play together every Saturday using this mod, and they are absolutely loving it. :grinning:

Do the mods still work with 1198? Yes.
Are they up to date with 1198? Probably. As far as I am aware, the multiplayer balance adjustment has not been changed in a very long time. If it had, I assume it would have been mentioned in patch notes.

Fantastic mod, really been enjoying 6 player. The mod has stopped working after the latest patch. Any chance of an update? many thanks and kind regards.

Oh, dang I thought for sure that the hotfix wouldnā€™t break it, but I never checked. Iā€™ll update it later today. Iā€™m glad you enjoy it!

Quick side note: I plan to add a plus2 and plus3 mod, but Iā€™m going to wait until v1.2 comes out because itā€™s possible it might break the mod entirely and require that I rebuild it from scratch.

New files have been uploaded for 1.1.9.8 hotfix.

I wonder if there will be a 1.1.9.9, or if 1.2 is the next version? I am afraid I donā€™t know whether this mod will work at all when the new patch comes out. I might need to rebuild it from scratch. It might take me a while to do so, so I apologize if there isnā€™t an update for a while after this. I recommend making a backup of your game, in case you want to continue playing the old version in the future.

Can you give me directions on how to make the changes myself?
I am a professional programmer and have done disassembly work. I have IDA and other tools.
I just need a general idea of what to change.

I know uā€™re busy and this takes so much work to rebuild for ver 1.2; I just hope u donā€™t give up on updating this helpful mod. Weā€™re group of 5 friends but have to join the game rotationally for temporary solution now. Thank you for your hard work and wish u all the best!

good day sir, i have a copy of 1.1.9.6 version of the grim dawn and i cant configure the 8 multiplayer mod, is it only extraction of dll files into the root folder and mods? because i already done that and i cant run the game thanks

If you are wanting to use the mod with version 1.1.9.6, you will need to use the DLL file located in the ā€œold versionsā€ section of the post. For example: Grim-Dawn_8-Players_x64-DLL(1196).zip
This will overwrite Engine.dll.
From your screenshot it looks like you are trying to launch the game from GOG? You may want to try opening Grim Dawn.exe directly.

are you downloading the offline installers??

I know Iā€™m a bit frustrated because i didnā€™t save an offline installer with gog for the version of the mod.

if you are using galaxy or have galaxy installed its possible it may be updating your game after the fact but idk.
