[MOD] Cataclysm (aka Apocalypse)

hello does this work without the dlc? Up to what patch is this mod updated? the redone version doesn’t have much information, apart from classes and 2x mobs what are the changes?

My Attack Speed is capped at 150%, is that a change with this Mod?
I played the original Cataclysm quite a bit, but I thought it was 200% back then.

How can I change that back to 200%?

If you don’t have the expansion, there is an old version of the original Cataclysm that is for pre-AOM https://www.nexusmods.com/grimdawn/mods/37?tab=files

All the other versions, both original cataclysm and catredone require the expansion

The primary changes of cataredone is the complete overhaul of the custom classes. The creator found it easiest to simply start with a clean slate after AoM

First, i want to say that i really like your mod. It’s the best i ever tested and i have a lot of fun. I play a Void Knight lvl 66. It rocks as hell!

By the way i have a really boring bug. Every time i tried to go to the village of darkvale on Elite difficulty, my game crashes. I dunno what to do.

I am playing through using only Extra Loot and it really adds some spice to the normal game!

However, I was wondering if the stat/skill/devotion potions are dropping? I have leveled from 1 to 40 and haven’t found any. Are they just really rare? I played Cataclysm before and I remember that I found a few in the same time span.

And does anyone sell Legendaries or does the special merchant just sell Epic gear? And does he not sell rings or amulets? I only see medals coming up.

Hey all i just reinstalled grim dawn, dident knew you can play mods whit it…
Im trying this mod out…look’s awesome…i got 2 big problems if someone can help me …

1.It says that the mobs are static (they level whit you right ?)i mean im level 8 and i find level 1 monsters ? Or like this it should be ?

  1. Why i dont see the rest of the classes ? paragon?Nosferatu?

PS:Clean GD install and clean cataclysmredone installed.

Edit:Also on devotion points…my left screen which shows how many devotion’s i unlocked etc…are down…like real down…i can see only the first 2 affinitys…the rest are offscreen.

What is the diffrence between Cataclysm and Cataclysm redone ?Which has more items(craft materials added in it ?)Sorry for this questions trust me i tryed to search the web first for all of the answers…if someone could help me i would appreciate it.Thank you

1- By static mobs, it meant their lvl will always be 1~3 lvl above you.

3- It happen when I missed latest patch (1.0.5.1 hotfix) on GoG. Same patch-numbering used on Steam (as I bought from both platform :D)
Just updated your game to latest patch.
4- The original work with non-AoM user, with old mastery, item, and balance layout. Redone are in progress work, with lotsa content, reworking mastery, available for AoM user and its beautiful.

Thank you for the reply.I managed to fix it.The thing is im playing cataclysm simple until redone…well it’s done :slight_smile: .And yes the scale system now works also the devotion UI.

Can you give me a link on what items for theorycrafting cataclysm ofers?Or how many new crafting materials adds?Thank you

I am having the same issue. I am not seeing the new classes as well. In fact I tried another mod that adds new classes and I do not see those as well. Have AOM have placed the files into the mods folder. It shows up in the custom game. When I start a custom game NO new classes. Any help would be great.

pretty sure , youre have facing a file misdirectory problem.
make sure, the file directory is as state
…/Grim Dawn/mods/cataclysmredone
inside, there will be 2 folder name database and resources.

What he said ^^. Sometimes compression tools will add an extra folder when unpacking. The final structure should read :
/Grim Dawn/Mods/modname/database/modname.arz
/Grim Dawn/Mods/modname/resources/*.arc

Hey there! Just wanted to know if the new tiers of powers are suppose to be this rare going into act 4,i only found 2 so far and i’m pretty sure they were from the item that drops some random good items when you open it (forgot its name ).

Can I get any bracket of either level or zones where their drops become more common? If they ever do of course.

Edit : also on a side note,i LOOOOVE the new icons for transmutes! They are so cool and awesome :smiley: (ps: do you have any plans for the elemental one? It seems kinda boring as is,maybe having it be a triangle with each of the 3 main elements on each side of it,that would look cool.) also can’t wait to try out the new class,i took a break form GD for like a month or two and i’m really happy that you managed to update the mod so well recently,you did a great job dude! :smiley:

Also as far as I can see as of now the new powder augment tier seems to be awesome! Love the art for it too,can’t wait to find more of them in the future :open_mouth:

Its table loot containing additional affixes to any Vanilla+Cata custom item…and it is among the best thing featured on this modpack!
Totally random. Though, your best bet is dungeon populated with lots of Heroes for much much higher chance Locker drop.

that’s what I thought,i though the higher tiers one would get more common as I got to higher level zones and such,oh well.

But yeah the mysterious locker is amazing,its so satisfying to open one.

Imho, it’s a good solution for mod-loot, without touching vanilla loot weight.

Hey there! I was just a bit curious.,why is there no bleeding transmuter? Is it a technical limitation or a balance one?

Game cannot convert bleeds, it’s pretty silly.
