There ya go guy’s … This should be a good start on this. Let me know what else we need to add in. I think as a community we should come up with 1 or 2 free FTP sites that are easy to use / known. There are lots of options out there and this should help with the vetting process

Secondly we should agree on a mod file structure to encourage inter mod compatibility

Isn’t Nexusmods pretty good?

Why nexus when you can grimcompendium? http://thegrimcompendium.co.uk/

I honestly don’t know… I am mearly the librarian for this project. I just would think as a community we should come up with a couple good spots so we are sending everyone to a couple locations and not the 4 reaches of the internet.

For now, we are confined to this forum section, so this thread got stuck instantly. Looking forward to seeing it get filled in with mods as they become available.

Moddb and nexus are good mod places. Compendium will be good too if people use it, but i think EVERYONE knows moddb and nexus, those should be defaulted no matter what.

any plan for infinite or big big stash ingame?

Mod Compendium? Pff, no one uses compendiums

Edit: Oh right, we might wanna get a few links to mod places up there.

Here’s the Nexus: http://www.nexusmods.com/grimdawn/?
And Moddb: http://www.moddb.com/games/grim-dawn

I’d rather kill myself than use ModDB, this place is awful when trying to download when you’re living in Europe. Nexus is cool, but I’d like to see some use in GrimCompendium.co.uk

Mods should only be added to the list when completed or at least something is downloadable.

I’ve made two tutorials so far, and one of them is a downloadable mod. I’ll improve the content if it gets listed here. We should have a “mod tutorials list” I think, but I’m not sure you want that here. What is your preference?

please o’ please!! at least 100 pages if not infinite

I’ve been looking at the stash, I will try to troubleshoot the results and release something tonight.

i will agree with you for some but in general I would have to dis-agree with you… Projects like what Ceno has in mind are going to be massive and lots of discussion will be had. The part that i’ll agree with you on is not every discussion of intent should go on here.

How did this go? In game big stash is what I’m waiting for to start playing again. The Crate Devs did state in the past they would assist modders with a stash mod since it is asked for so often.

Please list my mod, linked in my signature, too.
Quite a few things in it most people want.
satisfying everyone will be impossible though.

No longer half a gig, usable. Same caveat for all mods applies:
You can import characters from main by moving the save file, but vanilla characters can’t be saved from mods. You can share formulas from vanilla to custom, but not stash files. Mod characters can be shared across mods, but each mod has a separate stash file.

I did make one other minor graphics change because it annoyed me, the red for “unusable” is both more red and darker, but still transparent. Should be easier to recognize now.

Recommendations:
Install Stasher mod by unzipping contents into GD\mods folder. (Probably C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Grim Dawn\mods )
Create a new mod character (Need a new one anyway in order to save updates to it.)
Copy characters into your custom character mod folder ( from Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main into Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\user )
Copy your formulas into the Stasher mod. ( from Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\main\formulas.gst into Documents\My Games\Grim Dawn\save\Stasher )
Move the gear from your read only Vanilla characters into the Stasher transfer.gst by loading the character with the Stasher mod.
Transfer the gear from your Stasher stash onto your new character and play normally.
Too large to host here, by about 70kb http://seogods.net/img/Stasher.zip

I did manage to get it working with Grimmest too.

The 16 port switch that forms the backbone of the internet access for where I live went down :frowning: I replaced it with an 8 port, but there is another problem in the ceiling somewhere. I probably need to reset at least one router too. All the time offline let me finish!
