And I thought I was already at peak levels of hype for this mod xD
The new Hydra’s look really awesome nice work, looking forward to the next update.
Hey grimmer just picked back up the game for the xpc and have been playing your mod now for almost a month. First thing first blown away by how well a job you did with the mod and character items currently playing monk and also a necromancer.I do have some thoughts and please shoot me down if u don’t agree on them on know it’s annoying hearing other people tell you how to do your mods. Monk I think need’s some survival ability and what came to me was since monk is pretty much d3 remake kinda of the assassin i would give him the ability weapon block which would be increased block and damage absorption if duel wielding and maybe a weapon mastery that increases his holy damage and weapon damage. Also maybe a weaker version of something like soldier training or heavenly fortress and fervor. I guess what i am saying is he is a soldier who has spent years honing his body to do these things so i think he could use some more passives or stat percentage boosters cause he only has one and everyone else has like two to four. Again this is just a opinion maybe lower the energy consumption by like 20 to 30 percent I played monk a lot in d3 so i know his spirit is all about rubber banding so maybe add some energy leech to resolve maybe??? hard one for me to figure out. If anyone can give ideas to fix some of these things gladly take cause my friends crusader is leaving me in the dust.
the “Guardian’s Path” right? yep I’ll add it granting dodge chance probably. For the energy issue, “Exalted Soul” will be added, it will burst your energy regeneration. Monk isn’t done yet, so I can’t give you better info about it.
Thanks for the feedback.
Now the necromancer I have been having a absolute blast with him. I feel that the onl;y hings i can say right now after reading about all of the poison stuff your adding in and some scythe skills is adding bone nova with pierce and vit damage to be more useful for certain builds. Could you maybe add a little visual diversity in the skeletons you summon like the xpc necro gets stronger looking minions as he levels it up just for a better feeling. That’s about it all I could ask for otherwise is more sets and items which you are already doing a bang up job on looking forward to playing a pestilence master or monk/archanist in the future both sets look awesome but are you gonna finish the other sets like Rathma’s and Roland’s or are they staying mid tier half sets just curious. Thanks for listening to my ramblings about this awesome project. I thank you for everything and wish for a 2.0 Christmas.
An item (idk which one yet) will turn Death Nova into a Bone Nova (piercing + vitality) No changes on skellies, working on them is kind of boring. I wish Rathma’s could be a legendary set with the ‘skeletal texture’ and shit, but… it’s hard to create new textures, for me at least, so I’ll leave it as it is for now.
Just a sneak peek of the new Wizard’s skill tree and the new Black Hole’s transmuter Supermassive (+ cooldown + radius)
Beta version: December 21
Woah look at that black hole!

I know now how I’m going to spend my time in the end of the month.
Hello, Grimer. Will there be new items or skills (or updated old ones) in your mod which give physical resistance? In new locations it is pretty important.
Ok. Thanks for the headsup.
Added physical resistance to:
Necro’s Bone Armor
Crusader’s Guard
Wizard’s Prismatic Armor (Energy Armor’s RoP)
Monk’s Harmony (Exchange elemental res for aether, vit, chaos and now physical res)
Still on course for a Dec 21st beta release for 2.0? Thanks
mb, today is the day
Totally looking forward to the update, will play PUBG in the mean time xD I hope everybody has a merry xmas
Merry Christmas and thank you so much!!!
thank you very much! Merry Christmas!
So, I played for an hour and noticed:
-
the Demon Hunter and the Wizard changed a lot. You probably should update old sets (Shadow and Tal Rasha);
-
updated skills are fun to use, though I have right now no idea how they are going to work on the Ultimate;
-
I couldn’t get Devotion points from shrines (the limit is 1/1), so I had to use the GD Stash;
-
is it possible to add Mythical versions of sets and top-tier weapons from D3 for 90+ content?
Also, suggestions for combinations’ names:
Inquisitor + Demon Hunter = Punisher
Inquisitor + Witch Doctor = Ghostbane
Inquisitor + Monk = Champion
Inquisitor + Wizard = Evoker
Inquisitor + Crusader = Templar
Inquisitor + Necromancer (D3) = Corruptor
Necromancer + Demon Hunter = ?
Necromancer + Witch Doctor = Spiritbinder
Necromancer + Monk = Ghostbuster
Necromancer + Wizard = ?
Necromancer + Crusader = Dread Knight
Necromancer + Necromancer (D3) = Lord of Undead
Thanks for the suggestions, M1litarist.
Yep, I focused on creating new skills and visual effects only, so items/sets are outdated for a while (also most of AOM items are missing probably). I’ll wait for feedback from you guys to help me balance skills and keep them good on ultimate levels.
The problem with devotions happened with an existing char? I hope there’s no problem with new chars.
Necromancer + Demon Hunter = Traitor :rolleyes:
anyway thx for the beta release, you still keep your version of necromancer … can’t wait to test it
i love the ideas
