[MOD] Diablo 3 Classes: Patch 5.5 Released

A response to the fans is missing here, what should we expect from this mod?

I recently started ultimate new Witch doctor character and its four character just survived first act.
There some sugestions i had after
1 Zombie Dogs units - First of all its main purpose. For example Gargantuan can tank alot and Fetish warriors does damage,dogs does a little of these things but not without any especial role.
With a 16/12/12 without damage increase unit deal low damage while damage spells with same numbers and same damage increase deal much more.There also taunt from these spells but a single lvl 1 WD damage spell does better agro than total 24 points.For example Fiend,Hellhound and Briathorn had lvl 12 taunt on its abilities, all of them. Btw Burning dogs kinda okay but instant damage abilities like Familliar Thunder Strike literaly saving me years of my life. Does its even crit ? alright , maybe buff or aura for more support role to it but its unit mid after damage buffs, its bad in early first 50 lvls
Spider Queen - There something i found. While you upgrade rune effect its range of attack kinda half. Little spiders can rush toward monitor to attack while in the same range queen unit just chilling beside me untill i can close to target.Its hard to deal against boses or when your build more like range.
Also WD had no heal for sustein its own units from its abilities,near 15 usable buttons yet no passive aa no aoe heal.
Interesting to play i found is a component for ligtning resist that goes good combo with passive resists and Fetish warriors units ability, Thats cool.Also its playstile more like late game and 50 + lvls with crit, spirit walk and some melee range abilities.

  • Fixed an issue where Shared Burden didn’t reduce Demon Hunter’s resistances.
  • Fixed an issue with Leaping Smash animation while dual-wielding melee weapons.
  • NeoTec’s upgrade now is properly called “NeoTec” (Enhanced).

  • Elemental Strike: Weapon Damage considerably increased. Fire and Physical damage scaling increased at ultimate ranks.
  • Immolation Strike: Fire damage from the flame patch increased at ultimate ranks.

BLOOD KNIGHT

  • Wave of Blood: Damage overall increased.
  • Death Tide: Chaos and Vitalty % damage bonuses increased.
  • Blood Rush: Weapon damage scaling increased.
  • Trails of the Void: Vitality Decay damage considerably increased.
  • Shroud of Night: Radius increased to 30. Flat health turned into % bonus health.
  • Emissary of Chaos: Bonus health changed to flat health.
  • Annihilation: Vitality decay damage considerably increased.

MONK

  • Wave of Light: Weapon damage increased at higher ranks.
  • Mantra of Healing: DA scaling increased at ultimate ranks.

Anyone else having a strange issue where factions are missing their names? The coven faction just shows up as User9 now, and there are two hostile factions above it that show User12 and User16.

Patch 5.4 reuploaded with some bug fixes and prefixes support for Tempest. Download link updated at the official post as well.

Download it here:

  • Added skillpoints to Tempest skills on some armor and weapon rare prefixes.
  • Fixed an issue where Squall (Enhanced) weren’t properly blocked before getting its runeword.
  • Now Wave Edge is properly blocked without the runeword for Waterspout.
  • Now Dust Devil rune effects removes all your damage if you don’t have its runeword.
  • Now Zephyrs are properly described as “Zephyr” on the skill tooltip.
  • Removed non-intended screenshake effect from Wind’s Edge VFX.
  • Fixed an issue where Mystic Ally had no mastery points requirements.
  • Fixed an issue where BacLum runeword had the same icon as AhuThul.

This is indeed great news, very grateful for the gift and congratulations on the excellent work.

So as you already know I’ve been playing Tempest a lot since its release and I’m going to write up my feedback here, i hope it helps in some way:

I’ve noticed most Tempest armor pieces have their armor value very very low not sure what was your thought behind that but it makes one shot scenarios against the class much more likely to happen, because you know the armor values in Grim Dawn are separated and if the enemy hits you lets say in your 750 shoulder armor you are screwed so i would suggest to fix their values according to the item levels.

The class is extremely squishy outside of Wind Walk / Squall shenanigans what i’ve been doing is using the Blind assassin set combined with Belgothian’s Carnage relic to be able to consistently have those skills up so i dont die, this is alot of work around to be barely able to survive so i would suggest to switch the 15% damage absorption from Squall to a permanent effect in one of the Tempest buffs, let Squall be just the max speed buff with no Evade penalty.

Cascade, Zephyrs Surge and WInd Walk all of them have very high softcap effect values to start with i would suggest cut them down to at least 50% of their current state so they progressively scale after you invest more points on it.

On a side note - Some items needs to be updated like the Lord greenstone’s fan have 45% armor piercing (which should have none) or the Sever sword have only 33% armor piercing and it should be 100%, Bargoll’s Heart is still a Mace with flat physical damage as in vanilla it is a Scepter with flat elemental damage (fire/cold/lightning), just to name a few i’m sure there is more items that need this type of update and it’s a huge difference for their playability.

I would like to make a honorable mention, if possible and you find it convenient add a Spray of teeth modifier and +1 Demon Hunter to the Hagarradian Enforcer that would open a cold gunner build to both nightblade and inquisitor.

all item from this mod come with “tagNotFound” like this, how can i fix it ?

Rainbow Filter probably needs to be updated for the new mastery.

Going to try out the new class with my friend this week!

the Heaven’s Fury skill is pretty neat, but it looks a bit dazzling and cumbersome.
I would love to see a visual upgrade for it, maybe a light ball jumping around or something, tho.

Spiritborn class/mastery anytime soon? :wink:

been tweaking with my FX creation skills lately, decided to bring ‘The Grin Reaper’ voddoo mask as a cowl for the Ceremonialist on next patch, providing a full aether conversion to Firebats, GotD and DEE (including Blood Burst’s dmg and Vile Eruption’s dmg/vfx)

Thank you for your updating of the mod.However,I find that the equipment ‘Mythical Zunimassa’s Marrow’ is excluded from the set ‘Zunimassa’s Haunt’. The set ability (4) doesn’t take effect.How can I fix the problem?
