[Mod] Reign of Terror

CHeck flayer dungeon lvl 2

So you have no Forgotten Tower quest task active, nor completed, yet it is in your quest log… that’s strange indeed. Since I don’t know of any console command for granting / completing quest/task then you can add that 1 devotion point (which you would receive as a quest reward) with the following command:

game.incrementdevotion

Hi! Ram, I have learned a lot from you here, thank you very much!
Now I want to ask you about the console instructions, or where can I find a list of its lists?
I saw that the console commands you gave were ā€œincreaseā€. Is there any ā€œreductionā€ command?

I dont take any credit for this because I just use following forum post with most of the known commands and their function listed:

http://www.grimdawn.com/forums/showthread.php?t=38209

For decrease use: game.decrementXXX

Summoning metal golem for me crushes the game. It freezes and has to be fors-quit.

Same for fire golem.

Toorc Icefist (act 3 council boss)= Dps race / check?
(Fully) Heals up when he gets lower than 50/40%

Yet, cant beat him: low dps and no energy leech (no way to stop him from casting heal spell/summon).

(Playing normal --> veteran)

I know other mastery mods had this issue as well (one of the GD updates broke certain pet skill modifiers). We will look into this asap.

He is quite tough, that’s true.

% increase damage to demons should help (you can get this stat from various D2 unique / set items and Runewords, example:

King’s Grace (3 socket sword / scepter)
Amn (11) + Ral (8) + Thul (10)
Clvl: 25

Edge (3 socket Xbow)
Tir (3) + Tal (7) + Amn (11)
Clvl: 25

Mana leech can be also found even on some lower lvl D2 items.

What you can do is get Act 1 or 2 mercenary because those will have the highest DPS against this specific enemy (he has very high resists against elemental / physical damage so dmg types like poison, magic, pierce will work quite well).

Thank you Ram!
Btw, will you be playing Median XL/Sigma on the 18th?

You’re welcome

I wish I had time to play games but all of my free time is spent on RoT development so it is very unlikely.

I am impressed with amount of work this mod is taking. Also, with it’s outcome - it is my favourite Grim Dawn mod and way to play this game. All those D2 memories are back, and now having a lot of fun playing javazon. Thank you very much, Ram, and keep up the good work!

Also, I will simply ask - is Lightning Fury considered as spell, so it is affected by casting speed (like throw ability, I guess)?

Correct, throw skills are affected by cast speed instead of attack speed how it should be.

Hello

Ram i wouldlike You to check mp in this mod.
We noticed huge bug when playing on multiplayer with friends.

Dont know how to describe it well… but…

It seems that if You host mp game, all players who join are automatically bugged… or mby its just skills getting bugged.

For example, when i join mp game by my necro, i am making all summons x2 and all summons are 2-3x stronger than normally when i am playing alone.

When join by druid, very often (not always) fury getting bugged and it is not working how it suppose to… normally it hit maximum 2 times one monster on single player… on multi if there is only 1 monster near me i hit him 8 times at once…

Same goes to chain lighning… same think like on fury sometimes it hit many times same mob (depending on skill lvl and how many times it may skip)

There are a loot of skills that are getting bugged in each classes and is hard to find all of them…

I dont know if i described problem well enough, mby i will make video when i have free time.

Thanks for answering. It makes improving DPS on typical javazon (power/charged strike on left button, lightning fury on right one) a little bit harder, due to the need of attack speed and cast speed simultaneously (compared to original Diablo 2, where both skills depended on attack speed only), but that’s a minor issue.

What class would complement javazon (with potential migration to phys/pierce strafe) best? Paladin with Conviction aura would be great, but that’s 51-70 skill points to invest. Similar is sorceress for lightning mastery (with warmth + frozen armor as nice 1-point skills to consider), with possible transition to fire/cold (as buff to elemental arrow skills for amazon) or total gameplay change (sorceress with some amazon passives). Necro is probably most demanding points-wise with his lower resist curse and bone armor. Barb’s spear mastery doesn’t add much (physical damage is not imporant, attack rating helps a bit).

Sorc/Pally are best to pair with it. Pally uses the least points (50 pally/20 conviction/20 holy shield/1 charge - for movement) and Sorc uses more points but has more utility.

Yeah, that’s almost obvious, but the question was who to pair with amazon
Javazon loves Conviction (Holy Shield is nice addition, so 90 skill points, charge needs target to activate or I’m doing something wrong), and I guess strafezon also could benefit from it, or migrate to Fanaticism (and no use for HS unless some GD pistol in use, so those points can be invested into some amazon passive).

I know of this issue, I call it ā€œdouble cast bugā€. It happens in all mods when playing MP. I have no idea what causes it but this is not related just to RoT AFAIK.

It sucks, however I don’t think there is anything I can do to fix it. Only Crate can.

Yeah… as I said Amazon wants sorc or pally the most, conviction is OP as it is right now so i’d go with that.

Thanks, I was leaning towards pally and now I’m convinced, after testing both options. Reworked teleport could be fun, tho

I’m enjoying this mod thoroughly, probably as much or more than grimarillion, but is the stash bugged for everyone else?
