If you respec all points and put them into mastery bar then you can get WW at lvl 18.

The number of times I sit next to a waiting portal or cave entrance just to continue listening to the current music keeps growing.

currently at act 4, This is one awesome mod.

First off, awesome mod! Haven’t played it in a couple months and it’s really coming together.

One issue I had today was a skin of vipermagi dropped and vanished right when it hit the ground. I tried messing with the filters and it wasn’t there. All the drops from the electric mage elite by the arcane sanc portal in palace cellar level 2 vanished when they hit the ground. Not sure if that’s happened to anyone else.

Regardless, keep up the good work!

Update: I went to the far edge of the screen and it appeared but when I approached it, it disappeared. Maybe it has something to do with the blue rug it fell on? Lol not sure, but I ended up grabbing it.

Enjoying the updates so far, Ram. You’ve been very busy I see. A couple things I’ve noticed:

  1. On the green skull shrines that give the random bonus, the skull appears behind / underneath the pedestal instead of floating above it at some angles.

  2. The quest emblems floating above Deckard Cain’s head are smaller than everyone else’s.

  3. Fire Bolt still makes my screen shake when I hit someone with it. I’m fine with screen shakes for a powerful spell with a cooldown, but it is annoying for a spell that is meant to be spammed.

I’ll let you know what else I come across.

That rug just wanted some gear upgrade as well :cry:

  2. Unfortunately, all character effects are tided to character’s scale and I had to reduce Cain’s size by quite a bit since rescaling the model in Max didn’t yield the results I was expecting. I can ask Zakk if there is anything he can do about it… but for now, it’s likely to stay this way.

  3. I see… haven’t changed impact fx. Fixed (4 real now).

Man who needs a Diablo 2 remake? This is better. Thanks for this awesome mod!

I made an account here just to say thanks for the hard work and how awesome it looks. :smiley: :cool: Can’t wait until it’s done. Some friends and I already have plans for a LAN party.

It might never ā€œbe doneā€. After Act 5 is done the team plans on creating new content for the mod.

I’m only in act2 but I have to say this mod is absolutely fantastic… The map making especially is inspired

Regarding charms from a few pages back: Have you considered going the MedianXL route and only making charms drop from certain side-bosses or challenges? Or creating side-quest challenges that reward the soul-bound charm so they can only be gotten once per character. This would limit the amount of clicking on duration buffs if they are kept to a couple per difficulty. Or create 1 super charm with recipes to upgrade it with tokens earned from these side quests in the cube.

Oh I know, I just meant Acts I-V essentially. The extra stuff they’ve talked about is just a bonus to me really. I just can’t believe we’ll have a playable HD Diablo 2 essentially. :D:D

You misunderstand. What Goober means is there ā€œnever will beā€ a final version as in the team will keep updating with new content after releasing all the acts. The game is already very playable even in multiplayer, as long as all the quests are completed by the player that started the LAN game to avoid issues.

Correct me if I’m wrong but I think I read Ram saying that multiplayer was still a bit buggy and that after he finished the main acts he could go back and fix any issues multiplayer still had. All I meant by ā€œdoneā€ was for him to finish Acts I-V mainly so I could see what the recreation looks like in HD. I get that he’s adding more.

The only thing I won’t be able to fix are bugs that are present in vanilla Grim Dawn, like occasional desync.

Not to put you on a deadline or anything but do you have a rough guess when you might have that finished? Either way I think you’re making a lot of people happy with this so keep up the great work! :cool: Also is there a way to support you?

Act 5 itself is going to take at least 5 months to make so definitely not sooner than that.

Not for this project but you are more than welcome to support my next project that I’ll make after RoT is finished. Cannot share more info yet as it is still very early WIP.
