So I cleaned out the Den of Evil… and it still says I have 1 group left… what to do? No enemies remain…
Btw, for the Druid - check out the Titan Quest Ragnarok expansion - it has a werewolf mesh that you could use for the transformation, as well as a new bear character model (for the summon).
Oh, nice! I forgot they had 4 arms. They even walk like the original monsters.
So I played up to the Cold Plains so far, and this is indeed a really faithful mod, kudos on especially the enemy models and the NPCs, they really are like in the original.
The enviroments are really faithfully reproduced too. And great idea to turn some skills (like the various ice armors) into passives of an active skill, since they always just replaced the previous one.
I played an Ice-themed sorceress for a while and my observations about a few things:
-I don’t recall Skeletons being almost immune to Cold to this level… They must have like 50% resist. Hungry Dead take 3-4 Ice bolts to die, Skeletons need 10-12…
-Ice Bolt is kinda overpowered. In D2 mana did not regenerate fast, while Energy is pretty fastly recharging, and a 100% freeze chance spell can be spammed without cooldown, so essentially I just shoot all enemies once, then shoot them until they die while they are frozen and helpless.
-Fallen are pretty deadly in this mod since they do not run away (except sometimes? It rarely happen), and they are fast and hit hard. I dunno if maybe some “% chance to panic at ally death” modifier cannot be put in there?
This thread has 124 pages, and this info is not frontpaged, so you can say it as many times as you want, I won’t know.

Save Exit and go back in to kill that last mob, that area resets, although the den may have spawned at a different location than it did the first time upon entering
I’m curious how other players and builds are faring in the Catacombs, especially if this is your first character so you don’t have any special gear.
I hit level 31 last night which has helped quite a bit, but it’s still pretty rough going in Catacombs lvl 2. I shudder to think what Andariel is going to do to me! I’m trying to create a Rogue+Druid (supposed to be a Ranger type, bow user with pets), but swapped from a bow/gun to javelins/shield to improve my defense. I do realize I spread my skill points too thin between the two classes and that’s likely a problem, but I wanted to see how it played out. I don’t mind grinding a little if that’s the solution.
I think all my gear is either rare or unique, nothing great but also not horrible. I’m wondering if maybe I neglected something (armor? a particular resistance?) that’s making me more vulnerable than I should be.
Honestly just the fact that I’m having this depth of discussion again makes me happy, it’s been such a long time lol.
Im Running a zealadin (pala/soldier) zeal seems like its pretty decent however there are still times i get chunked really hard and the rat men are little a$$holes they chunk my hp bar like nothing, recently crafting the RW insight on a polearm and it seems to kill them fast enough to not really be a problem sword and board zealadin without the right RW and gear is really underwhelming compared to monster damage. Druid/Rogue seems like a really cool concept tho!
Just max out a skill you like. You should be able to 1 shot stuff from distance.
Multishot is also really good at cancelling out projectiles too. The only downside of this skill is it’s lack of flat damage and high energy cost for early game. Werebear is also a pretty good skill for early game tankiness. Gear up with resistance and energy regen and you should be good to go.
I had the same issue until I found a small pocket in the SW corner. On the map it looks like a round area and the entrance is via a small path directly north.
If you found these hidden guys but you’re still missing a group, retrace your steps and they will spawn eventually. I find that if you move really quick you can miss a spawn because they do actually SPAWN and are not already all there.
I have restarted game and it kept my numbers so this works too meaning you go in, kill one pack. Done. Unless that has changed since last hotfix.
All throwing skills use the same template currently and that is attack projectile which is not considered as a weapon attack and therefore doesn’t work with such skills. I will try to rework them when I have some spare time.
I don’t know about any other way apart from visiting them again ingame.
Congratz with the last update, It’s my favorite ! Moar runes, goblin attackable by pets/sentries, … I like it !
However I’ve got crash in Sewers as before. Only Sewers, not Stony Tomb for example.
And would you consider decreasing the cost of the rune upgrade ? 1000 gold for the lowest rune, considering we can get a lot, is very expensive.
