I don’t know if this has been reported, but I’m trying to bound Falcon swoop devotion into Druid’s spirit wolf and it’s not working, the pets aren’t proccing falcon swoop
The skills is level 20, I have 4 of then and Summon Dire wolf enabled
Falcon swoop works, but projectiles instantly fall down onto ground. There is some kind of bug ang engine particularity associated with meshes. In particular wolves uses TQ mesh, but i’d seen same projectiles behaviour with GD Wisp-type summons.
You have to fix the TQ based pet meshes, there’s an attachment that emits the projectiles from devotions and such. If it’s below the “ground” it will of course not work properly.
Do you know where is attach point configured? I’m - don’t.
I will give an example: in one of first Noble Paladin builds Frozen Orb was summon with projectile nova skill template. If I set projectile template as arrowlike it’s work correctly, but if I set orbiting projectile they all fall down as above. Where in I didn’t use custom meshes.
I have been playing an amazon/paladin and im finding a lot of paladin auras very lackluster, I dont know how uch faithful you want to be to diablo 2 skill trees but with lack of synergies and addition of grimdawn devotion system/dual class I think some changes could make it better.
Paladin have some very strong auras which completely undermines the all auras as exclusive, support auras like prayer and thorn could be pretty much excluded from the restriction they are not good enough by themselves and can help with devotion power allocation.
the resistances auras could work like cleansing and meditation as addons for salvation(give salvation other resist?) making it a good exclusive skill due to max resist. Same for other auras could be better like addons(elemental aura damage as a final 3 elemental damage when you get all 3).
Fanatism and conviction are pretty strong ofensive for physical/elemental thought conviction DA reduccion might be a bit too much? like some weapons reduction of 1600 DA which look insane like crit paradise.
Strength and blessed aim look like lesser fanatism same as before work as addon and add crit for a different flavor? concentrate could have cast speed for a caster oriented fanatism.
Thats my take on paladin auras sorry if its hard to read.
I feel like experience gain in normal/veteran is a little unbalanced, I finish act 1 at level 30 and everything available in act 2 gives me only level 37
I’ve also posted a bit about Paladins and agree with quite a bit of what you are saying. Most auras are rather useless to have as your exclusive - pretty much every single defensive one except maybe meditation if you have teleport. I suggested that defensive auras could maybe get some passive bonus’ in addition to their aura (which is something that many of them actually have in d2). I also agree on the conviction part, while d2 conviction did reduce defense by a %, DA in Grim Dawn also increases crit rate and not just hit % like it did in D2 making it much more powerful here.
I’d still like to get some kind of passive in paladin that gets any amount of % life as it is hard to get a good amount without dumping everything into physique/multiclassing in soldier/barb/druid. Also, I still think Druids get too much free life.
Are there more secret bosses like Viserion in normal and nightmare? I didn’t beat hell yet but went to the cow level already
Also I know about the uber bosses with keys, but I don’t have it yet
