I’ll just change to “?” like before. RIP Skelethon, you didn’t last long.
Then you know which one to take. I’m thinking about changing up the buffs, make them a bit more different from each other. Maybe remove a few stats and buff others so that the tooltip is not a clusterfuck.
I can remove the “?”, but I made it so it would be very easy to merge another mastery with this one. If I do remove it don’t expect 2 different versions with one “easy merge” and one “like vanilla but one more class”, if you get what I mean. It’s not perfectly balanced yet, but perhaps it is if you play with Cornucopia. That’s also kind of a side objective, to make it so the mod plays great with Cornucopia. Speaking of which, I should make a version with it; although I’ll have to ask Ceno and adoomgod for permission; or just make a tutorial.
Still have one or two slots for skills. I’ve been thinking about the first skill I wanted to do for Grim Dawn, which is more or less a copy of Contagion from Path of Exile. I’m sure it’s possible with what I learned during the creation of skills with the existing resources, but since I can’t make particle effects… Yeah. I’m not comfortable with asking, either. I could try to create an effect blind, but that would be very hard and very time consuming. Not impossible but I’m not willing to go through it.
Oh, I get it. Then, I’ll wait for the new mastery and write my hope here.
Since Coronus has little AoE skill, I want you to increase the kind of its skill. For example, I want persistent AoE skill (like Grasping Vines of Shaman) which assigns the Shepherd’s Call. Although I assigned the Shepherd’s Call to Awake, it was hard to use the skill with large consumption of an energy.
I was able to fight against most bosses easily, but there was one powerful enemy. That’s Salazar, Blade of Ch’thon.
Salazar is an enemy who is very hard to fight. It is because my minions will be killed immediately. I want a counter skill to deny his life steel and chaos attack.
I definitely agree that the mastery is missing ways to proc devotion skills. I’m going to go on that contagion skill copy, but I’ll make a transmuter to make it so it can be a usable main skill. Probably will be somthing simple like +100% damage; +75% mana cost; 5 seconds cooldown.

He’s a pain to kill for anyone, I won’t create skills to counter him. To kill him you need patience and some reflex, and that’s the case for anyone.
You might find the SoT bosses hard as well, their AoE can be a pain to deal with for your minions. I’m gonna increase Elemental res on a T9 togglable skill and remove something else. Don’t know what yet, I’m getting right on it now (was playing Darkest Dungeon for the past day, amazing game).
EDIT: Nevermind that I don’t have enough place for 2 skills. If anyone knows how to put more skills in I’d love to see how. Thanks.
I finished the update. It’s more of a balance change than anything else, but I took the time to created the first legendary item. You can drop it from Alkamos in the Steps of Torment (as usual I use the bosses there).
Uploading everything now.
EDIT: Done.
How do you guys feel about an “unbound” version of the mastery that would work well (maybe) with Grimmest, to burn your computer?
EDIT2: Well I did it anyway because it looked fun. I had the idea for a new mastery that revolves around using potions and flasks thanks to Elfe. I don’t know if it can work well, what do you guys think? I have not much ideas on what to do yet with it. Potions to drink, potions to throw, that sort of stuff.
Could up the run speed of Y’ Gui or whatever his name is? He always lags behind and has to teleport himself in, which causes him to arrive late to the party
Also I am not sure if this is intentional or not but putting 1 point into the mastery will unlock both Abadon and the mage guy who casts loop, is that supposed to happen?
Haven’t gotten too far into the mastery as I took it as a secondary but plays well so far, will give more feedback once I have more time with it.
I played the new version for a while, but honestly I didn’t see what changed. How did you change game balance? Well, since I have not fought with Alkamos yet, I’ll look forward to loot.
Are you going to make Alchemist?
I want the portion which recovers constitution! Vital Essence, Food Ration or Untouched Meal… these are in many places, but it is difficult to use it in emergency because I cannot carry it.
Changes posted in the changelog, I only changed the two T9 auras.
That’s a neat idea. I started to work on it, I’m nearly done with the basics and soon I’ll just have to work on skills, icons and possible fx. But before I can upload this I asked permission for doing so to Diacred (he announced he would be doing one after his Arlequin).
Currently it’s called “The Gaunt”, and I got a lore description ready in my head. Just need to type it down. Probably going to be some kind of crazy scientist that worked for the Empire but had an accident with a new chemical that burned his skin? Not sure yet.
The pets aren’t really made to be keeping up with you all the time until you get some stuff for them, exactly like Vanilla GD.
Abaddon is unlockable as a T1 skill. I’m going to check for the “mage guy” (I assume Grigori) though.

The “Mage Guy” is the one who uses a lightning attack as his main attack. His skill is located directly to the right of Abbadon, which unlocked at the same time. I figure this is unintentional as having them both allowed me to stand there and just have them clear everything themselves.
In terms of pet speed, Abbadon sticks right by my side, its the other one who walks like a 85 year old man. Not a huge deal if you don’g change it, just a minor quibble thats all.
I’m starting to think you didn’t get the last version which fixes the speed problems and the Y Gair tier unlock. I got no problems when I look at my current files. Make sure you got the latest version and please tell me if I got the wrong one uploaded on the Nexus/Mega. Thanks.
If you’re using DAIL, Sir Davood updated the Coronus with the latest version for his next release.
That’s fucking weird. Are you using the version I put out or DAIL? I’m gonna check nevertheless but I’d still like to know.
EDIT: Okay so that bug was here since I merged Skelethon. Thanks for reporting it, fixing that now and uploading the new version as a hotfix. Will also take the time to make changes to the Unbound version (double summons instead of triple).
Thanks! I hope Davoos didn’t update yet (I bet he did already, I always do nothing for a few days for the mod in-between updates).
I’m gonna level a character and make a video of the mastery at some point. I’ll try to go to ultimate. Say, if you can get a video of your gameplay uploaded on youtube I’ll link it here if you want (and with your permission).
I wish I could. Since regrettably I’m not good at speaking English, it is difficult to make a movie.
Aside from it, I’m going to introduce your Coronus mod on our JP Wiki. When the article was completed, I intend to tell you. Thanks.
