when I made the original post I just couldn’t figure out why this major news was not mentioned anywhere on the forum

I looked in what I thought would be the normal places for news

I kept thinking “this is HUGE, why is this not in the Announcements or Development Updates ??? Is it supposed to be a surprise ?”

Oh boy oh boy oh boy.

2nd order of business, I hope someone makes or mod, or I will, that once you get around to the Steps of Torment you can fix the bridge that links to Old Arkovia with scrap and coin like other bridges in the game. Would make than long run to SoT much quicker whilst not being completely blasphemous by sticking a portal at the entrance.

I think they said the maps have changed so that you actually can’t connect them

but it seems you should be able to put up some way points

How about make a repair site on the broken hills side? Then you have to get there first in order to create the bridge to old arkovia, and thus make a shortcut.

I still would like the map reworked a bit so the bridge can connect. It should not be that hard to extend one area out further so the bridge ends are close enough together again, unless there is some engine limitation I am not seeing.

I remember them talking about why twin falls can’t connect with tyrants hold, but i don’t ever remember reading anything about where the op it’s talking about. If i missed it I’d love to read about.

It was a post Zantai made on a thread asking about repairing the bridge at Twin Falls. He basically said that during development the geography changed and it can’t be connected anymore.

Yeah that was my point, get to that side first before you can connect the bridge, not just get to Old Arkovia as that means you’d probably be too low in lvl anyway to kill the mobs there.

Seems like this cannot be done anyway from others are saying.

According to lore, the bridge at twin falls was destroyed by the chthonians. I think it says so in a note found around fort ikon somewhere. Also there was a post about the twin falls riftgate being unchecked due to an “earthquake” after the map change update.
