Does anyone else feel he won’t remain the most challenging boss in the game with all the new lore?
I vote the Witch Gods become the new “Mogdrogen” :p.

Naturally, stronger enemies shall appear in the expansion.
But Mog (lightning) is enough. Eldritch (acid/poison) also enjoyed on the Hidden Path. If some deity appears, I want to fight against other elements.
How about Korvaak?
I’d take anything over fighting Dreeg and Solael (no offense Bysmiel but you lack the background and the build up)
Korvaak would be Fire/Lightning based on Kymon’s powers so the combination is interesting.
I really want to fight Lokarr though, son of a bitch refuses to shut up but I mainly want to murder him for his armor (shoulders/chestpiece). They look so damn awesome
Besides “Deity” bosses, I want a boss who is both big and doesn’t have his ass fixed in one spot like Log did. I haven’t played Titan Quest but i saw some screens with very big and mobile bosses, i’d like that in GD
From a neutral point of view, I’m not so sure about fighting godlike entities. We do know that Modrogen is -only- present in Cairn as an avatar (at least gameplay-wise), which means that him at full throttle would most definitely be quite imbalanced, hence the title “god”. 
I feel the same about any other face-off against gods in the expansion pack. I doubt we’ll really get to fight a god in all his/her glory, at least in my opinion. Instead, I’d think that we’ll be playing the role of a rather important cog.
That being said, I think that, gameplay-wise, there probably won’t be many (if any) enemies stronger Modrogen’s Avatar. Though, that’s just my own speculation.
I don’t see what lore has to do with challenge.
As long as his level continues to scale, he should be #1 or #2 (as Zantai confirmed in stream chat that there would be ‘another Mogdrogen’).
By lore i meant that new lore expands upon the deities and which increases the number of potential candidates whose for “That One” Avatar we might get to fight

Well i don’t expect anything bigger than mogdrogen in a fight. Maybe the witch gods or just one of them, but that depends on what kind of side their on.
I do wonder ,but this is more for the lore discussion thread, if the gods have fought each other face to face in the war of the gods. Because they did used the aetherials in the war. I also wonder about the powers these gods possess. Is one god clearly stronger than the other or is it pointless to fight each other head on.
You can currently fight Mog in Normal, Elite, and Ultimate. Technically I think he’s different in Normal Veteran, so… Fifth fight?
You said Zantai claimed there’d be “another Mogdrogen”. That could mean either we see Mogdrogen again, or something LIKE Mogdrogen. I was just curious if he said which.
I hope we get to settle the score with him (in his true form) once and for all, it’s time someone sent that dog back to the kennel
He may be an arrogant bastard, but he is still a god. His avatar is already nigh impossible to beat, and that’s just a small fragment of his power.
I think mogdrogen might appear if one god tries to mess with us directly, and he will defend us.
I do wish we could get more information from him and Anastasia.
I sort of get this feeling too, that he’s waiting to see how things will unfold before deciding whether he should intervene and how.
