I’m following Drizzto’s bleed warder build and noticed that his skill point allocation included a point in Mogdrogen’s pact and a maxed Heart of the Wild points allocation. However, he already has 10 skills slotted aside from Mogdrogen’s Pact.
Heart of the Wild doesn’t seem to affect stats if Mogdrogen isn’t active, I was just wondering how his build uses this bonus?
Additionally, I feel that Heart of the Wild is a bit underwhelming yet most warder builds use it. Can someone explain?
That’s how it works. Mogdrogen’s Pact gains the effects of Heart of the Wild if you put points into it, thus none of it’s benefits become active if you don’t activate Mogdrogen’s Pact. This is because Heart of the Wild is on the same skill line as Mogdrogen’s Pact.

At 10/10 points, it gives +30% health which is a significant amount and cheap too, past that point it starts to scale poorly so likely isn’t worth overcapping.
Edit: Bleed reduction might be helpful on a Bleed build as well if your DoTs get reflected back at you.
If Drizzto does what I do, he slots all of his perma-buffs on one skillbar and all of his other skills on another. Press Y to toggle between the two hotbars.
