More constant krieg stomping

I suggest changing the stomp skill from Krieg’s set to “When using a circle strike, charge, force wave, rhythm, counterstrike, devastate, Callidor’s tempest, absorb souls, bone harvest, war cry, Menhir’s will, overguard , and VPSs you perform a stomp”, and - stomp resists would stack with other pp…naturally with other skill damage numbers. if the total damage for a skill changed, it would also change for stomp when using this skill. But if the total damage changes everything is applied to the stomp only once.(if anything, according to my idea, the skill should have either no cooldown or low)

And why should this change occur? Do you have a build with which to be more specific in your suggestion?

I thought this idea was cool, Krieg himself seemed to stomp through almost every attack. any ethereal or physical Death Knight or spellbinder or battle mage in the Krieg set.

If anything I’d like the stomp to be a fair bit stronger than it currently is.
Rn it isn’t rly worth using to add dmg at all.
Best case you use it to proc a devotion every once in a blue moon with it but aside from that… underwhelming ability imo.

Unfortunately it’s a lower value than devotion RR, but is higher than Mindwarp RR (which is the common use-case weapon for 5pc Krieg’s).

Realistically the only thing holding Krieg stomp back is the cast speed of it, even at 200 CS. Animation is quite long.

As to the OP’s suggestion, that is not how skills work in Grim Dawn. So…uh…no.

Which doesn’t rly matter anyways (if part arcanist) since 5p bonus also gives 25 flat rr to reckless power.
And even if not part arcanist using it is a big overall loss in dps as well.
Better to stick with flat from mindwarps or grab another additional, bigger source of flat rr like revenant 4 example that u can bind to one of ur WPS.

I stick with what I said b4, that stomp needs to deal way more dmg to be worth using.
