More explicit build numbers on main screen

Hello.

It would be nice if GD displayed a BUILD number alongside its version on main screen. That way you could easily identify if you are up to date.

What do you think?

nvm, i think you mean the hotfixes etc right?

I believe he is referring to when there is a hotfix since the version number isn’t changed with those.

  2. unless you know there is a new build out you would not know that you are outdated

So I do not think it provides much useful info, but obviously it could not hurt either.

Yes. I am referring exactly to that. Build number alongside version. Something like 1.0.0.7 [HF2] or 1.0.0.7 [13045].

And yes I keep Steam to automatically update everything but… with 1.0.0.7 we got two hotfixes. So, I guess I am UP TO DATE, but no real way of seeing that.
