I hate soldier cause sword and board doesn’t work well in the game. His best skill is blitz. So if you choose this mastery with another class you put one point in all the one point wonder passives of soilder get blitz just to save time going from mob to mob and then the rest is for what ever class you chose. Laceration seems cool but bleeding doesn’t kill fast enough. Field command and counter strick are pretty good I guess. I guess most his skills don’t mesh well with other classes or most his skills become useless if you choose to not be S&B.
My guess it that “hold left click, wait for enemies to fall over” is mind-numbingly dull. It’s pretty much the “I want to be a pure ________ but it’s impossible to survive on just 50 mastery” class.
Voted Shaman, could have been Occ too. there’s just nothing wich excites me much in both classes (well, not as much as others i mean, i still enjoy them nonetheless :p)
I voted for Arcanist because I don’t like the look of the skills. For example Albrecht’s Aether Ray looks really boring, is too OP and reminds me too much of Diablo 3. Also in my opinion there is not enough variety for different builds independent of the class combinations.
I voted soldier because it’s the most generic warrior mastery, which I guess is what this mastery was designed to be, but over the years this mastery slowly grown on me, especially Cadence which is one of the skills I disliked from soldier.
Blade Arc is the only skill in game that I couldn’t bring my self to make any build around it, not a fan of its animation and sound. If I want melee AoE I would pick Primal Strike over Blade Arc.
Default weapon attack skills like Savagery and Fire Strike can be used with WPS (Markovian’s Advantage/Feral Hunger/Amarasta’s Quick Cut etc.) to creates dynamic gameplay because you have the animations from WPS added to default weapon attack skills, so you got different animations within a skill.
Even without the WPS skills, those skills can light up the screen thanks to their damage types which is Lightning(Savagery) and Fire/Lightning(Fire Strike)
Cadence only uses Physical damage type (along with Bleed, IT and Pierce), which despite it’s effectiveness against 90% of the mobs isn’t all that flashy. Not that i hate it, just stating what i’ve observed.
