Multiplayer ban reasons

Hi guys, I have not seen this idea being posted just yet, so I think maybe this will be a good addition to the feature on the next upcoming expansion.

When banning (kicking) someone from the open server, I think it will be good if the host can type something in (a reason mostly). So when the person got kicked out, instead of seeing “you have been banned from the game” message, he can also receive a message from the host.

Maybe it is not crucial to the gameplay, but saying things like “Sorry lad, our friend wants to enter our game” will help a lot for the players who get kicked out.

It also may improve some people’s etiquette in MP because of various reasons such as:
a) they keep looting stuffs, bag’s full, rift back, sell things (or even worse, keep looking at their loots, compares it etc)
b) AFK without notifying party members
c) being non-cooperative because they went somewhere else

Comments? Thoughts? Thanks

Sooooo …you get banned a lot, huh?

Seriously though, it´s probably a good idea, but not worth the effort.

If people “misbehave”, talk to them. If you have to ban them afterwards, they probably know why.

I got banned maybe twice, entered a server and BAM, banned.
Personally, I ban people who have shitty character names. If “Nazislutfucker69” enteres may game, and don´t even bother, I just ban the guy. Hm…wait a minute…?! :stuck_out_tongue:

Quite the contrary, I am the one who do the banning, A LOT.

But this is actually the reason, I talked to them, some of them does not even respond, some are AFK. Maybe they did not pay attention to the chat log, which I think is quite hard to miss. I ban them thinking whether they actually get my message or not. :o

Most people you will encounter online are weird, or stupid “not nice persons”. Get used to it. Sounds harsh, I know. :undecided:
Try not to worry about it, and cherish the few nice ones you meet?
No need to feel bad about banning someone, I am fairly sure, they don´t loose any sleep about it.
Don´t know what else to tell you.
