My friend and me are playing this game in multiplayer a lot. We have the problem that most of the time we have to restart the game several times until we are able to get into the game.
We always do the same:
- Start the game
- My friend hosts the game
- I try to connect to her game
- Most of the time connection fails; sometimes it works immediately
- We both restart the game (often more than once)
- after a few tries i can join her game
Since her router does not support UPNP we activated Port Forwarding on the router. We used the ports described in the official Forum Post. It helped a bit as the situation was worse before. But now i can sometimes join and sometimes i can not.
