I’m currently experiencing this game for the first time and I absolutely love it. My girlfriend and I just finished the game on normal. Here my question, I want to continue playing when shes not on and hit level cap but i still want to be able to play the characters we made together. So I want to know how this games level scaling works. For instance if a level 50 and a level 85 are in the same game are the creatures lvl 85 or 50? Is the lvl 50 going to get 1 shot by everything or is the 85 going to plow through everything with little to no gain? Or is it tuned separately for both characters where the 85 sees 85’s and the 50 sees 50’s. I just don’t want to leave my girl behind, so i need to know if i should just make another character or not.
You should make one character which you only play with her. And then another, or several, where you play alone. That would be the best experience.
I play with 2 friends and I got 1 char for all 3, 1 char for one of them when the other is missing, and then several for myself
About your real question, how does the scaling work, I’m not entirely sure, but It seems to be closer to the high level char but lower than if he were alone. Anyway, the higher char would just be carrying the lower char. I suggest you keep 1 char at her level
