Reproduction rate: Unknown / occurred once
While playing normally, I noticed that several pieces of my equipped gear had apparently been replaced without me intentionally changing equipment.
My equipped Korvan Storm Halberd had been replaced by a Charged Imperial Claymore of Arcane Balance. I then noticed that my previously equipped purple chest armor and blue gloves had also been replaced by other random green items.
I checked both weapon sets, all inventory bags, personal/transfer stash, and vendor buyback. The original items are no longer present.
Returning to the main menu and reloading the character did not restore the missing equipment.
I did not notice the change immediately when it occurred, so unfortunately I cannot provide exact reproduction steps. I first noticed it while out playing normally in Malmouth area.
I also checked the character’s Steam Cloud files. There is only the current player.gdc, with no player.gdc.bak or older Steam Cloud version available.
I have preserved an untouched copy of the affected player.gdc and the log.xml from the session and can provide them if useful.
