"Must dodge attacks" in crucible being hard to see

Hey all, I play on the high visuals and was wondering how people avoid attacks like null orbs, pools of deaths, and some other effects in crucible that basically screw your character over if not avoided. Crucible effects tend to get so cluttered on screen that some of these attacks are really difficult to see. I’m fine with must avoid attacks in the main campaign because often you see the effects and can run in time but in crucible where sometimes you’re so clogged on screen and all the sudden you’re dead cause you don’t see your buffs drop off, it can get pretty annoying. Related note, I think nullification is one of the worst ideas to place on an enemy mainly because it’s fairly common to have buffs on a different skill bar so reapplying is quite annoying especially if your character is leech dependent.

I havent been nullified yet in 150+ and Im curious if you have been.

Which enemy/enemies are nullifying you? As I understood it, nullification is removed for crucible. At least I thought I read somewhere it had been. Maybe I am imagining it. For pools of death I usually have some kind of speed ability for my character shadow strike/spectral strike/blitz/chaos strike. I try to handle whatever is dropping the pools first doing my best to leave slow moving enemies outside the fight so I can strike to them to dodge all the ground crap. It isn’t always possible. Most of the time I just don’t stop moving or only stop when I’ve kited the faster enemies to me. If you are talking about Kuba. Well he is something of a nightmare with how many pools he can drop. Unless there are two of him, pull him away from any packs of slower moving enemies and deal with him fast. If there are two of them, try to deal with one of them at a time as best you can. Depending on arenas you can sometimes get a second or two to deal with one before you fight the other but that is super rare.

Nullify shouldn’t be in crucible at all. That would amount to a giant GFY to the fans. It might FEEL like you got nullified when stacking resist debuffs take you down to zero though…

AOM mobs have long lasting ground effects even in crucible

All really DANGEROUS effects that are meant to be avoided, are quite easy to see. For example, Kupacabra’s “Blood pools” are very well visible. So is Sharzul’s tornadoes, Zantarin’s shotgun, etc.

If you struggle with seeing what happens around you, try to reduce video settings, especially - set shaders to low, particle effects to low, remove distortion ,screen shake, etc. With that, you’ll see everything clearly.
