I have just completed the veteran mode for the first time. While playing the elite mode I don’t feel like completing everything again. What are the must do’s in each difficulty? For example the shrines for devotion, The hidden path for extra points.

Shrines if you need them and consider missions for faction rep as you may well want access to resistance augments before you start ultimate and may also want to stock up before switching factions in ultimate.
That wiki page is awesome! So if I want I can just complete those 8 quests without even following the main quest line?
Once you get full Bag no need to do those.
I guess what you need is to Kill Log. I guess Reaching Homestead (unsure about Cronley being needed or not). Killing Amalgation. Darkvale Gate. Taking back Fort Ikon. Killing Log.
For valuable reward. Kasparov (giving him Aether Crystal) Killing Lutra and the Hidden Path Quest.

The only real notable thing to do after quests and devotion shrines is making sure you’ve opened all the one-shot chests; chests that always give a blue item, once per difficulty.

Hasn’t been updated for AoM yet as I’ve yet to do it and haven’t found a complete guide on shrine/chest locations to reference.
The shrines have been posted, but the chests may need to be found personally. I haven’t seen anyone mention the one-shot chests for AoM yet.
