Hello there. After many years, i finally decided to casually level a Pet build. Right now im lvl 90 and quite powerful. (Altought very early game on Veteran, skeletons were completely useless?)
My plan for this character is here:
I probably should picked Cabalist. Still, i want a skeleton focused build, i know i have an acid blightfiend build alternative too. I don’t want to copy paste some other build but i also want this to be effective.
From what i see, pet health is in dangerous levels for end game. Is there something specific im missing? Also note that i don’t want to have too many abilities, i rather focus on the ones i have.
I’m so confused by this line. How were you building at this point? ALL your points should be going into skeletons at this stage… if they aren’t steam-rolling everything for you then you were doing something very wrong.
Basically if you weren’t quickly dumping it all (or nearly all) into Raise Skeletons from the get-go then maybe that explains that sentence? But it’s the only good way to do a skeleton build early - and useless is the complete opposite of what they are even from the very beginning.

As a proof-of-concept I went ahead and built and ran this right here for ya quick so you could see for yourself - early Vet skeletons have no problems.
Thanks for the video. I hardly killed this guy, i think i had 9 points on Skeletons for quite a while and they died very quickly. I’m more insterested in how the build will perform with the build i provided in link though.
I haven’t spent as much time with them in “end-game” scenarios - cuz that ain’t my thing - so others will have to give you the rundown more of that scenario but my understanding is that yes, they will always be a bit squish - and Zantai definitely has made it clear that’s how he intends skeles to be.
I am very familiar with running them thru Norm/Vet (and definitely all A1 material) and I can promise you that they can trainwreck everything in it Salazar, Gutworm, Warden - you name it. You might have to summon them back up a time or two but they can get the job done.
But I’ll leave the rest of your getup to everyone else since others are better qualified for that stage than I.
