My newest trophy/bragging rights - Xbox Strictly SSF. Not Once have I played MP

Yes those 70 deaths are a bit overkill. This was the second char I ever hit 100 with.

Evoker of Elgoloth Vindicator.
I somewhat fell into this build without even realizing it.
I was 2H Ranged Primal Strike, until I for some random reason tried out this crossbow and I just couldnt go back to PS
Anyhow… I have taken out some Celestials this week… big things. All gear SSF. All mats and BP earned the old fashioned way.

I have a level 100 EoR Warlord who cant kill nems on Ult.
I also just recently levzeled a Trickster to 100, I have another vindicator 2h Ranged PS in act 2 or 3 Ult.
Needless to say, Ive made numerous characters that I ended up deleting and learning the ropes with.

Edit: Only .53% of all players on Xbox have killed Callagadra in ultimate.
I also took down Avatar of Modrogden which is .73% according the achievments.

Edit: Also SR 30+ completed. ( 30 is the highest waystone I have available atm anyways ) Ill try another push now that Ive done some min/maxiing and see where I land.
As for crucible I died on 169 and that shit took forever to climb all the way from 1 so I havent re attempted it as of yet.

5 Lokarr runs and acquired a full leveling set. I think that may have been a bit lucky.

Starting to fit in with the crowd!
Next I need to push for Horns of Korvaak, and some Alkamos Rings.
Ive done 70 SoT runs and not one ring yet. Craft another 50 keys to start.
Got my run time down to only 6-7 minutes a run. Obviously just elite sniping and popping moosie/alkamos.

Are there any other recommendations for ultimate hidden quests that will prove to be a good investment for my account…? I finished Hidden Path. Any others offering skill or stat points…?

Isn’t lokarr set kinda overrated due to the experience potions?

The quests that grant skill points etc you can just google

this is what I found, a nice checklist for each difficulty.

Note, if you do said quest on Ultimate, you will be given rewards for same quest in normal and elite. So you only need to do these quests on Ultimate.

Congratulations! Well done! :grava_yes:

No need to google anything, just go to either grimtools or the GD wiki.

If one googles, these two are the first to show up

Yeah i agree the Lokarr set likely wont ever be used, but I mean it was something that Ive been reading about on here for a couple years on and off. In total I have 25 days played across my account and prior to about a month ago, I kinda just played casually.
So I figured it was time to prepare for FoA releaese, and I wanted to be able to clear all relevant content that has some merit behind it. Lets not forget, this is all SSF, I cant just copy and paste a file to my game folder and turn out a fully decked out char ready to smash crate. On top of that, Im a total pleb here and need to experience these challenges before theyre completely irrelevant to GD. Honestly Lokarr was a little disappointing. I dont even have to avoid his attacks. Only Grava, and Calla have managed to need a dodge or rune to survive.( Since farming gear )

Horns of Korvaak finally dropped for me. Now Okaloth and Alkamos rings would be welcomed.

Touch of Dread after 83 runs. Good day so far.

Since the XP bonuses are additive, you can use both, and even combine it with Explorer’s pants, Leovinus rings, Wilhelm’s amulet, Ribbon/Badge/Crest medal which in total gives you at least 162% more XP.
Lokarr set not only gives +40% XP, but also +1 to all skills which is very useful for early leveling. Wilhelm is even better since on top of +1 to all skills it also gives +8-12% total speed, extremely helpful especially early on when you are very slow.
Of course you’re gonna get rid of one item or another as you level up and build-enabling items become available. But I usually keep the Lokarr set and the Wilhelm medal until level 75 or 84, sometimes even until 94.
If your build requires an item early on that is in the same slot as a Lokarr part, you can use one of the Gazerman chestpieces (+15% XP) instead of Lokarr.

wow rnjesus loves me. Just got Touch of Anguish run 89. sheet my trickster gonna love deez.

beYeaa boi.
Ive been farming Korvaak on and off for a year to get horns, and the last four to six weeks been hitting SoT hard.
In total I did 93 SoT runs. Made 100 keys, 7 left.
Okaloths helm is my next specific.

Anyone got anything I should add to the my stash that .ay potentially take a while to obtain…?

Im kind of just getti g past the newb curve, and starting to have a much more comprehensive understanding of the mechanics.
Im falling in love with Grim Dawn all over again. Especially now that I have more than one useful character, and underatanf how to progress from 100 to unstoppable.

Jeez these rings make a monsterous difference in output.
1.4xx Mil crit highest hit so far. Im not even done gearing either.

And Im loving the horns of korvaak on my elgoloth vindicator. Big jumps today!

But +40% when you already have +100% from exp potion is only 20% gain in exp.
Sure, Lokarr set has +1 skills which can be very useful, but it has very low armor making you much vulnerable.

you have two of all Magi rings?
Worldeater?
All the other legendaries and epics from the skeleton key dungeon bosses?

20% is not 0%, and low armor doesn’t really matter until late game when you’d probably switch out Lokarr set for your build’s items anyway. Some people even level from 1-94 in Lokarr set on Hardcore.

All in all I’d say it’s faster to level in Lokarr set even with xp pots, the risk is lower than the reward.

And 20% more exp gain does not mean its 20% faster either, since some of the time is spent on walking, standing still in town etc.

It takes about 4-5h to get to 94 anyways, I do not mind having to spend 20 more mins by not wearing Lokarr set etc, especially if I can wear stuff that boost my damage %

Yup I know. I have also seen some die at level 80-90 (some of them due to low armor) thus wasting several hours.

All I wanted to say is that lokarr set is not that important for leveling new chars as it used to be before we have exp pots.

Well, I’ve allocated a new task for myself. Going to try and farm all the legendary MI’s, starting with armor and jewellery. I didn’t think to tally up the total, but i have around 26 left not including weapons.

Just a random question, is SR infinite…??
