My Top 3 Most Anticipated Inquisitor Builds

Feedback and criticisms very welcome!

Video is well done, although I didn’t find the topic particulary exciting, certainly not exciting enough to watch it for 7 minutes.

I don’t know shit about youtubing, but just my 2 cents:

  • make video bit shorter
  • or if you are going for that length or more, add some montage of gameplay footage. Even footage of mastery trees would be better than looking at powerpoint kind of presentation
  • nice beard

That’s some great feedback! I’ll see what i can’t do to spice up my next video.

Nice video! Hyped for Tactician aswell

I wanna go for cold gunslinger, i’ve noticed inquis has an auto attack proc ( cold based) and that could work well with abb/lethal assault. So inquis/nightblade

Right? the idea of an elemental bruiser really tickles my fancy

Inquisitor + Arcanist: Dual Arcanum Sigilis with Shard of Beronath and all 3 Inquisitor WPS. Max Elemental Exchange skill line.

Inquisitor + Demolitionist: Full Ulzuin set including rifle with Hell’s Bane Ammo, full Fire Strike including Static Strike, Inquisitor Fire and Lightning WPS, Word of Renewal transmuter for 2-handed weapons. Effective Fire/Lightning split

Inquisitor + Soldier: Dual Deathdealer’s Sidearm, Rune of Kalastor, Physical/Pierce Build.

That hadn’t even occurred to me TBH but it seems like it would be really strong. Rune of Hagraad would be awesome for keeping your distance and synergizes so well with your damage type and Aura of Conviction will be a really strong buff. Do you think you’ll taker the other AA modifiers or just the cold one? do you go for night’s chill despite being a ranged class?

What about going for 2-handed with that build with The Northern Wyrm? Seems like that could be good too. Remember Word of Renewal has a transmuter for 2-handed weapons.

From what i see Inquisitor+Arcanist %CDR based build would be T1 crusible cleaner. Sustain, invulnerability, lots of DoT dmg, %OA and %DA open a lot of option for devotion setup.

Only cold and absolutely yes to night chill

Edit : With all those skillpoint you use even blade spirit on cold modifier.

Forgot to mention it in the build, but thats a big reason that i went for a 2 hander. that 4 second off the recharge is pretty huge for a single point.

I want to try an Arcanist / Inquisitor. I have been meaning to seriously use Replicating Missile for a while and this will also let me try the Inquisitor.

That seems to be pretty popular from what i hear. I imagine the new attak seru devotion will be quite powerful in a PRM inquisitor build. Hopefully they’ll add an endgame set with pure elemental damage support.

probably a ranged Purifier to start with, as ranged wasn’t enough supported in GD imo. in balance with a lightning PS Vindicator.

Inq & Arc will be my first combo

Inq & Demo also is appealing

Inq & Nightblade seems promising as a cold ranged build.

Inq & Soldier also seems strong

Inq & Shaman has some interesting lightning options, but doesn’t tickle my fancy.

Inq & Occu won’t work that well I think (at least I don’t see it be better than Occu + Demo for Brimstone gunslinger)

Inq & Necro is cool for the apostate lore gimmick, but I don’t see that much synergies between the two. For a focus on pets I’d mix Necromancer with Shaman or Occultist, for a focus on ranged damage I think the first 4 appeal better.

Vulnerability alone contributes more to an elemental build than some whole masteries and BoD is great for literally any build.

Why do people pigeonhole poor Inquisitor into shooting with guns…
