Tried a HC Purifier, one using the same build I made for SC testing for v1.3. At L45 Normal, I should be able to wipe out everything, including POS’s like Ravna and Ronaprax. No problems with the aforementioned enemies, but I’m getting one-shotted (again) by that douche Naxen Shade. It doesn’t matter what my resistances are when it can fill every effing corridor with never-ending puddles of death, or attack me from behind a wall, or get me stuck where I can’t even Evade past it.
This is my new most hated enemy, and it’s not even close. The blocking of the Evade skill was almost enough to question why I’m still playing after 2200 hours. Since I don’t think this quest can be skipped (if you’re Friendly with Barrowholm), I guess I’m going to be Enemies from here on out.

The mine quest is a side quest so you can skip it. However, it doesn’t require you kill Naxen Shade anyway.
Wow - really? It’s been so long since I did the two in order (turn in one, then start the mine, I mean) that I never realized…thanks.
I’ve had this happen on other enemies, usually large ones like Naxen. Maybe I’m just getting stuck on the walls/debris in the hallways. It’s hard to tell sometimes when there’s so much crap on the ground.
can happen, but i didn’t have any seeming unique evade issue my first two rounds there, so might just been an unlucky floor point/direction facing or pathing location

even ignoring i’d normally not encounter that boss that early, i’m not sure what the specific non-evade related issue is there 
*the way i understand it/the modifier interaction, it should be impossible for Veteran to be scaled less than normal but i don’t know if it actually acts properly on top atm/on v1.3

I think you might be onto something. I can’t recall having these issues - the damage, not the evade - on Elite or Ultimate.
if you encounter something specific i think you’ll have to see if you can repeat on a second go and then record it
Otherwise everything keeps appearing fine like business as usual/it’s hard to tell what else is going on.
Sometimes it doesn’t fix the issue, eg Gutworm bug that’s been impossible to narrow down, but atleast it can clearly display and highlight it or what to look for.l
