I never said you couldn’t. The person I replied to said you cannot resummon during the bosses.
For me, Grim Dawn was actually a godsend. Honestly, it is the Diablo 3 that we never got… It nails the atmosphere and the feel perfectly, unlike that disgusting disgrace, the “real” Diablo 3. Good old stat points allocation, dark feel, ability to wear any armor (provided you have the correct stats), great themes for classes, generous loot, unique skills and trees that don’t feel boring/repetitive, even that awesome class combo thing from Titan Quest (which had always been considered equal to Diablo 2).
There is NO diablo 3. It is a horrible, DRM-infested cr@p (always online, even for single player). It contained once and it still represents, EVERYTHING an old, traditional gamer would hate with passion… Real money auction house, poor loot gains, oversimplified gameplay, consolitis disease (development for consoles did affect the pc version, concerning limitations, oversimplification and other things) and a price to FLEECE the customer… As well as absence of one complete package (like Battle Chest or the old 2+expansion pack) at a reasonable price, too. I miss the good old Blizzard North days and i know, those are forever gone.
Seriously, i wouldn’t touch anything off Blizzard ever again, even if you PAID me to! I don’t trust their “remake” of 2, i am afraid they will ruin this somehow… Exactly like what happened to the other legend, Baldur’s Gate 1 and 2 and the unspeakable horror of their “sequel”… I can see that coming.
Needless to say, i found a new HOME in Grim Dawn. THIS, is my Diablo 3, right there. I loved it and i support it, i even bought all DLCs. Obviously, announcing the inquisitor and necromancer, was something i couldn’t even dream of, let alone easily believe at first, since, well, Necromancer had always been my most beloved (and main) class, in pretty much every game that has one playable! I loved your presentation and concept of the new class and i trust you blindly. Shut up, take my money and give me that real, authentic, legit, Diablo feel again!
RIP Blizzard, RIP Diablo Good riddance, betrayers and abusers of old fans
Dragonspear is bad but was BG Enhanced Edition bad as well? I only played the enhanced one and never tried the originals
I was told they didn’t change the core gameplay
Some of the new content was ambiguous, too. The “writer” they hired was the same, for both remakes and the “sequel”… Besides, even if the remakes themselves weren’t in such a pitiful condition as Siege of D, they still had some ambiguous things presented inside (although you could avoid contacting them) and their own, fair share of lots of bugs. Worst thing though, is that Beamdog, who acquired the licenses, stopped the old, original games from being sold independently and separately, bundling them together with the “enhanced” ones, at the “enhanced” price tag, also! Effectively blackmailing you to pay through your nose, even if you were only interested in the original game(s).
I can see that coming, too. I bet Blizzard will botch up “enhanced” Diablo 2, in a similar fashion to how Beamdog botched up “enhanced” Baldur Gate(s)! And charge poor fans an arm and a leg, in the process (they already did that with 3, anyway).
Golden Rule: “Don’t fix what is not broken”! Because, obviously, it will break then.
