Started leveling demolitionist, turns out, it’s hella fun, I mean dual pistol part. So I haven’t chosen second mastery just yet (level 26).
My question is for a very specific build that is fun to roll vanilla with holding two guns but also possible to switch to gun/shield/off-hand and solo Gladiator Crucible. Is there such build?
Sorcerer > Commando > Elementalist
I say sorcerer #1 just cause I think it’s best for crucible, commando is better if you demand 100% safety or play bad 
Imo best pistol build I’ve played is elementalist with static strike focus+lightning pistols, quite good in campaign. Damage just as high or higher than fire variant, but lacks health/sustain problems. Would be worse at crucible though

If you want to use 2 guns then you need to use the pair of Barrelsmith Guns
Basically Sorcerer deals the most burn damage, commando is the tankiest, and elementalist have some thunder. Any of those is able to faceroll vanilla and solo Gladiator Crucible, though I’m not sure about the twin gun part
Nice build, Thailehuy. It does seem tho like it uses BWC as main damage source, so not much gun slinging (or sword fighting in your case).
What sorcerer builds are we talking about? Also, any chance Pyromancer would work in solo Crucible?
BWC is best though can be done with grenado and tons of procs, well tons of procs either way 
I don’t doubt you could do it 1h+shield/focus fire strike but there’s no good reason to do it really.
Pyromancer can def solo crucible. If you try to do some yolo shit like run an ulzuin’s set gunslinger you will get analed hard though. Need justice set 100%
You would waste too much time spamming BWC + Thermite mine (for the RR) and Flash bang for CC, you don’t really spend time auto attacking. Though you can auto attack in between, the main damage is still burn damage.
Sorc build is pretty much the same as commando, using BWC

IK set can do very well with pyro too. Tested with 2h build as well.
That too, I only associate it with bwc build

It is BWC. Fire stike is very iffy for 2h builds. It was basically IK BWC + Wordeater Ability, that does great shotgun damage with cruci buffs.
As far as fashion goes i’d allways choose justice set. IK looks like a squeezed beer can:)
So respec to Dracaris Pyromancer for Crucible and play some yolo Barrelsmith Ulzuin build in vanilla? What are my sorcerer options? Build compendum has super outdated pistol’s build.
I see no point to barrelsmith unless you specifically want to be an auto attacking grenadier, if you focus on one or the other there are better options
For pistols it’s really same as all other fire builds. Grab all the neato fire devotions, behemoth, max your main dmg skill, and in the case of fire strike grab some lifesteal. Outside of that you can do w/e really as sorc is super flexible. BWC or Grenado proc god, ulzuin rifle build (see Fluff’s build). Can even go melee though personally I’d rather do something else for melee
Pretty much the same as pyromancer, arcanist tree doesn’t really add anything different, just more damage.
The upside of barrelsmith is that you don’t have to waste another gear spot to equip dual pistols
Fabius shoulders can help with that a bit.

Obviously boots or pants can be rare to cover more resists and not all augments are there. But more important question, will it work? A lot of devotions procs are on attack, and we are kind of limited in our attack options here, so we won’t be proccing some stuff full time.
On the plus side, we have 19-23 physical resists, overcapped maiven with 23% damage absorb, Mirror with some skills in it from gear (as well as some cdr), two healing devotions, a lot of debuffing and a lot of gear procs.
What you guys think? I will level my Demolitionist and try this out.
I recommend you get brimstone. Especially since you DW. Flat dmg from FS synergises with DW best. Leave explosive strike at 1 pt. You can take some points out of OFF too
Haha! Good on you for coming up with this on your own. I actually came up with a build like this that I tested and was thinking of putting a guide for but never did because I was too lazy. Your version is still not tanky enough, I can tell you that right now. Fabius will steamroll you. Try this instead.

DPS is on the low side for sure, but it can kill Fabius without fear of death in about 45 seconds or so with 0 MIs. Just have to pay attention to your procs and time Mirror/Bloodthirster with Ghoul/Blast Shield. It’s also awesome because it doesn’t use Chaos damage; I always hated Sorc gunslingers using Chaos damage cause why not just use Pyro. The Arcanum Gunslinger =)
