Need assistance with images for my new mastery.

Hi guys!

So I’ve recently started modding with Grim Dawn and I can’t really figure out how to get the images correct while choosing mastery and also while spending skill points for my new mastery.

Been trying to resize the images 509x291 and 320x200 but it still wont fit in and the background goes all black.

Been downloading the mod template from the website.

Can anyone experienced please help me out?

Greatly appreciate help

try this:
class selection image = 509x292
skill tree image = 202x322

Thank you

It worked slightly better but the problem is when I scale down the images, they still wont be 509x292 and 202x322.

They will always be abit higher even after I scale them down.

The one I scaled down to 509x292 became 301x480.

Anyone know any good program which let me scale them correctly?

Even a program as basic as MS Paint should be sufficient. There should be resize options, by default it will scale with both HxW locked together (in other words if you tell it to set H at 1080 it’s going to automatically scale W relative to what you input for H)… You can toggle this option off and force it to give the size you want for both parameters.

Otherwise there is always

Once you get the hang of paint.net, it is pretty powerful for us casual artists. It can load and save in all different formats and you can download add-ons for it.

Most of the time I shop google or deviantart for images. As long as you are not selling your mod and you give credit to the artist, this is typically acceptable.

A trick, is to create a new image with the xy you desire. Then copy and paste your source image into working without expanding the working image. If it doesn’t look right, undo. Then go pack to your source image and resize by % then try again.

paint.net is a good tool for tga files
