Hello! Im about halfway trough elite with my demo, currently just running around spamming bwc and canister bomb. Im either going for a bwc sorc/pyro/commando or a stunjacks build (elementalist?). But im really not sure what to choose. It would be great if anyone could give me any advice 
Both are top builds
It seems like you already know what you are doing. Being a commando will of course allow you to be a bit tougher if that is a problem for you otherwise.
