I’ve been looking for the lvl 94 Magelord epic ring set for about 5 days now of farming about 5h per day. I’ve been running everything from crucible to shattered realm to bulk monster totems in Ultimate. It feels like I’ve found literally every single epic lvl 94 item at least 5-10x each but these 2 rings elude me.
So far I’ve completed over 100 totems, 10 clears of 150-170 gladiator crucible with extra spawns, 10 clears of 60-61 shattered realm on ultimate.
Can anyone offer any insight on where they acquired them? If you have and are willing to trade any spares on your mules I’d would appreciate it.
I’m just starting to feel like either I’ve been extremely unlucky or they are no longer dropping. Maybe I’m doing something wrong?

same session farming ! (ie farm as long as you can manage without resetting to main menu)
either way, there are 458 lvl80+ “endgame” epics in the pool, (some of those will be MIs/Uniques/faction items or from crafts), so the pool is quite big, even for what you might consider a lot of farming (10 clears of cruci/sr isn’t much imo tho), and that’s like 350-400 blues you get to roll the RNGesus dice for every time you sit down to farm, not totally impossible for you to miss out on 2 specific blues in 25h of farm
this sound good and all, but, they actually give you the worst epic drops, since they are weighted more towards legendaries at those challenge levels
you need to do lower lvls for that, like SR 70-71 on Normal
(unsure about the corresponding Crucible lvl, try wave 100 or 130 on Gladiator or try 130-150 on Aspirant)
i don’t remember the avg Monster totem payout, - Monster Totems should always be done on Ultimate tho, but it’s not a bad way to get blues tho, so might just have to keep banging at them
(do 1-5 SR/Cruci runs, compare output with the same time spent on Monster totems - then pick the “winner” and stick to it)
either way there will be some grind involved when you have very specific needs and plenty RNG to fight

I’m aware my current farm results aren’t overly impressive but seeing the same items like mythical omen, mythical padala’s will, mythical daegas drop over and over again makes me wonder if it isn’t an equal chance to find all the epics.
Also I don’t mind the farm/grind to obtain these epic rings as long as they actually can still drop! haha
Based on experience, all jewelry and medal are the hardest to drop. The suggestion by @Gnomish_Inquisition is a sound, you should try do SR 70+ on normal since the loot is more skewed towards epic. Ultimate totem + act boss + dungeon is the way to go to spend time on same sessions farming and less boring compared to SR run.
And since you already post on the forum, RNGesus consider this as tribute and may grant you the item you seek, soon.
You can also try transmuting Epic set pieces into other Epic set pieces.
You should have about 2% chance to hit one of the rings (assuming it draws from the pool of 96 Epic Set items of 80+ level) but it seems to be quite cheap.
I just spent 1.5million iron bits and over 100 aether crystals trying for the 2nd and no luck lol!
oh well I got 1 now so I can keep trying for the other and If i get a duplicate I can roll transmute it to the other ring since it’s only a 2pc set. Also if the elemental to aether conversion range is too low I can keep swapping back and forth until I get desired rolls.
what a great way to go to bed knowing this bloody ring does exist! I’m not even mad about the waste of resources

RNGesus came through and I’ve got my 2nd ring to complete the set. The rolls for elemental to aether were 22% and 25%. My belt rolled 53% fire to aether. So added together I have 100% fire to aether and once I find the bp to craft the medal I want that will convert all my lightning damage to aether.
Long story short, My callidor’s tempest 200% faster cast Krieg build is just 1 item away from coming to life.
