I’ve noticed that, after looking through many builds on here that my toon is seriously lacking in a lot of fields. Especially the damage department!
I want to really bring out her potential for Ultimate difficulty(while hoping to keep the Chain Lighning playstyle) and beyond but have no idea where to start. And yes, I died A LOT on this build but it is a seriously fun toon for me to play!
Tysm in advance!
P.S. Obviously, I’ll be open to readjustments to my skill tree/s and Devotions BUT I would like to maintain the 2H Ranged Chain Lightning playstyle!
you can vendor farm (by moving to the previous level of the dungeon repeatedly to reset the vendor) Vinelton in Ancient Grove for Sparkthrower for some nice double rare (unless the weapon is no longer sold there due to some patch change), even with +4 to Storm Totem suffix if you want although I chose attack speed here. Farm normally otherwise
Stormserpent headpiece you can get by using two different types of Epic set item transmutations, reroll till you have max Phys res roll at least
transmutation withing a set if you already have some Stormserpent set piece
if you’re extremely unlucky and have no Stormserpent pieces, you can reroll some other Epic set item with another type of transmutation to get one and then use the previous one
that purple medal is a faction one
adjust to affixes you can farm
use some movement skill! Probably one of these 3 depending on your playstyle / preference
You global % lightning damage looks fine actually. Higher than in the build linked above So it’s probably just missing flats on the weapon (your has much lower values on the weapon than the other build).
But the most obvious issue I see is that your resists aren’t near to where they should be.
Apart from physical, they should all be 80%+ (Usually good to have a bit more, because some enemies have abilities to reduce them)
You can fix that by using the right components and augments, but also just by finding items with better resistances even if it sacrifices some damage.
You have decent life steal, so if you fix the resistances I’m sure you’ll already have a much easier time.
I could bump % damage more but I didn’t think it’s needed / opted for more defensive options / other stats. It can be always increased by losing a bit of health / DA / OA here and there after making slight changes in items, skills, devotion and attributes.
Btw it’s not only flat on the weapon but other stats, like Crit, OA, Attack Speed, maxing the skill line, flat on Brute Force and Mogdrogen’s Pact, Slow and Freeze resists, another devo proc (Tempest unused before) + the build being immortal so that you can just focus on shooting.
