Is it just me or Nemesis hunt is a little too tedious? I don’t mind the random spawn location, but at least have them be closer to portals?:furious:
Once you get used to it some are fast some are stupid.
I rarely Nemesis Hunt solo and I always do it with some “sure” stuff.
I will do the first two Gardian, Cronley, Karroz, Gollus and between 2 and 4 Nemesis.
- Fabius always (Running to Cronley cover most of it during that time a partner will run backward from the same rift. Afterwards 1 in Hannefy the other in Arkovian Foothill if unlucky)
- The Kymon/Order Nemesis can spawn in like 3 spot SUPER fast to find.
- Moosie (might miss him if he is in SoT but this is something I often do in my farming run)
- Sometimes Valdaran I honestly don’t find him that harsh. Necropolis is super fast. Doing the whole Act 1 part (last 3 map) when you know the pattern is also REALLY fast. Only sucky part is if he spawn in the farm area or worst Port Valabury (if we are running 2 players usually it is one player in Act 1 the other in Necropolis if we don’t find him we just re-start instead of going to the “worst” spawn)
Only hunt nemesis if you in need of blue-prints, Fabius-Cronley run or Iron Maiden/Zantarin worth the time you spend to find, shouldnt find others as they hard to find, just meet them by chance.

He mostly spawns in Port Valbury or Warden lab.
I now only have access to Valdaran and Moosilauke. I usually hunt for Valdaran since I pretty much can face tank him! I am missing the blueprints for Lightning, Aether + Fire, and Poison Mythical Relics and surprise surprise, my main 3 characters are of these 3…
If you still lack many of blueprints. I would recommend do challenger. Only start from wave 100 and get reward on wave 110. You can do it without buying buff. I did it and found them really fast.
I’ve found that the crucible makes Nemesis farming runs in the main campaign obsolete. I only farm Fabius, and that’s only because I use obscene amounts of Dynamite and I often find him by accident. I can’t remember the last time I found a good item from a Nemesis (usually just badly rolled MIs). I just treat them as a bonus if I happen to find them while looking for other stuff.
Thanks for the suggestion, definitely going to try it! Can’t remember where I died last time though.
I always hunt nemesis in campaign mode when i need nemesis shoulders for some build. I find crucible to be more tedious than anything else.
Aren’t nemesis shoulders just greens? Or do there are nemesis specific sets?
They are monster infrequents (MI), each nemesis drops 2 version of shoulders with + 3 to a specific skill. If you want to overcap x skill for a build and you have shoulder slot free they are bis (not to mention they could roll double rare). Phantasmal blade, cadence, panetti, lethal assault are example of builds that benefit from nemesis shoulder.
I see, I have kept all the shoulders from nemesis loot but none tailored to what I am looking for yet. Which brings us back to the topic, nemesis hunt being too tedious x.x
It’s not as tedious as farming MI pants.
I guess that would be my next task after I gather all the blueprints I am looking for. Are MIs better than Legendary set? Which slot should I save for MI? Just shoulders?
SOME build will use Shoulder (Nemesis Shoulder) cause the Skill bonus is really good.
Boots are gonna be Rare in most case (Golemborn Greaves if you are in need of Piercing Resist and some other build might use super specific boots but in 95% of the case you will want a pair of boots that cover your resistance weakness).
A good (great) set of Solael or Dreeg Legging will beat most (all) Legendary for the Leg part.
There is 3 really strong ring (Cronley, Gollus, Karroz).
IN ALL CASE you can go without them and go Epic/Legendary and you can build a character that will clear all end-game content. Not as fast as those perfect character but it can still be done. Honestly the better the MI / Rare the least Augment/Component you will spend on Defense and thus the more you can transfer to offense. It does make a difference but it ain’t as huge as people seems to say (man my top character is still rocking Blue Gloves!)
Good set of Dreeg legging from MI?
The Gardian all drop a MI piece of legging.
Solael is often considered the most valuable one.
Dreeg IMO is pretty solid (giving Poison reason that on some character would be taking precious Augment/Component spot still Stonehide on the boots/Legging can cover most of your poison resist need thus lowering the value of that one. Still pretty solid)
Bysmael got a bonus related to Pet so might be BiS for some specific build but in general the other two are far better.
Bysmiel-Sect gives Poison Resistance, Dreeg-Sect gives Vitality Resistance.
Bysmiel-Sect is the only one with HP, but I would prefer Dreeg-Sect (OA) or Solael-Sect (Bleeding/Aether Resistance).
An “Ancient Solael-Sect Legguard of Nature´s Bounty” was something I hoped to get. Never happened.
How could it be?
Got me.
Should have been more precise; Bysmiel-Sect is the only Legguard with HP without Pre-/Suffixes.
I can’t tell what is special, please explain x.x
