1. Remove all summons/pets from items - non-summoner classes deserve no pets/summons.
2. Two new classes.
Reanimator - summoner class that can have many melee but also aggressive range pets (unlike raven), that can as ultimate skill reanimate any creature except bosses from grim dawn.
repeating the same flawed idea does not make it any better…
Good thing there is 0 chance of item summons being removed, also disagree on what masteries we miss (but yeah, a Necromancer still might be one we get)
Barbarians make any games better.
second choice, a necromancer would be cool, maybe a exiled member of the death’s vigil.
Third choice, The Disciple of The First Blade sounds cool.
The main reason they’re there is that they were around during the time of Arkovian empire. From a gameplay perspective it’d be hard to make the barb different from Shaman and Soldier
Silly me, I voted for that because of my bias too. Team Ulgrim!
I was thinking recently that I’m not really clamoring for any particular archetype showing up (although I am sick to death of your standard necromancer (I will still play every combination possible if you make one…)).
What I’d like to see out of any new mastery is some new combinations of damage types. I’m kind of in a rut with certain combos when I want to focus on a particular skill that has damage types focused on by that mastery or one other. I could ignore that and do some oddball combination with damage types all over the place, but I also don’t want my damage output to suck. I have found very valid uses for All Damage doing stuff like this, but that’s really not the solution I’m hoping for. So give me another aether focused mastery, a fire alternative to Demolitionist to pair with Arcanist, etc.
On really general terms, I think we could do with a ranged focused mastery (Vigilante was going to be if I remember correctly).
And rambling along and contradicting what I wrote above, one thing I do kind of miss is the idea of the Dream mastery. Call it a Mystic or something. I could see it being aether based this time, maybe do acid/poison too instead of the electrical stuff. An alien pet, confusion debuff, maybe throw in some life and energy leech, just a whole collection of weird and wonderful skills. And now I want to go make an overpowered Dream character again…
also count me in… this is the only reason i am not doing any gun oriented class for now.
im pretty optimistic they will release one given the fact that we need an item just to dual weild guns instead of a skill… just makes you think that a dedicated mastery is coming on the horizon…
Would hate to see him get corrupted and become a boss, it’s a really been there done that kind of deal. They could have us rescue him and have him become like Deckard Cairn from Diablo 1 and 2
And a Necromancer, cause you can’t make an ARPG w/o one
