New Factions?

Hey all,

Quick question as I’m finishing up my theorycraft Death Knight build. The four new factions are:

  1. Barrowholm

  2. Coven of Ugdenbog

  3. Malmouth Resistance

  4. Beast? - This one I’m not sure about.

Are any of these similar to Death’s Vigil vs. Kymon’s or Outcast where you have to make a choice? Need to know for those Augments…

Barrowholm is the only one with the choice, but it’s similar to Outcast rather than DV vs KC. So you’re good :slight_smile:

Yes, 1 and 2. You’re missing the Aetherial Vanguard as well.

You can chose to be hostile with the coven?

You can only be hostile with Barrowholm by choice. Coven and Malmouth Resistance are friendly with no choice of going hostile towards them. Aetherial Vanguard is always hostile.

Not directly related to factions, but once you have unlocked the new Ch’thonic Nemesis, can you spawn both the new one in the new area and Benn’Jahr, the Colossal in other areas or does the new Nemesis replaces Benn’Jahr, the Colossal ?

Benn’Jhar only spawns in the Chthonic vanilla areas and Grava’Thul only spawns in the Chthonic expansion areas.

I guess it’s to avoid them spawning close to each other.

I thought if you sided with Barrowholm you were automatically hostile with the coven.

Speaking of Barrowholm and Coven - what are their final quests? I presume summoning the ravager and doing the ritual mini-arena fight with the old lady are it?

I think I got the ritual quest before reaching the second to last reputation bar, and that one said there’s a new quest, but I havent’ seen anything new.
