When you unlock better status with a faction it would be nice if it told where to go for that new quest.
Like you become friendly with “faction” and new quests in these locations…
Or maybe as a permanent status like, quest uncompleted, or quest completed so you know you completed the unlocked quest from a faction like rovers, black legion or so on.
Broad hints are given for all quests, but the devs have said time and time again they don’t want the game to hold your hand and give you exact directions.
It’s also clear in the Quest windows which quests have been completed and which ones are still to be done.

Yesterday ive played a lot… I knew I unlocked honored and respected with devils crossing and black legion.
Now I have to do like mad running through each damn portal to check if there is a quest icon under npc.
I am unsure If I perhaps did one quest before going to sleep, or where is the OTHER quest?
What kind of holding hands is this… Im 90% confident I havent done either of those 2 unlocked quests, yet I cant find them.
Its frustrating. I wanted to “relax” and do sidequest and then continue my main quest to malmouth but it seems I have to just forget the dam quests and just do main one. Good luck with tie-ing* loose ends…

Then I suggest you check the Grim Dawn Wiki, all quests main and side are listed there for the base game at least.
Holding hands comes from having to hold your hand while taking you somewhere i.e someone showing you the way without having to do it for yourself.
The answer to your question is not to randomly search about, but to simply go to the place where the faction is based at i.e Devil’s Crossing, Homestead, Kymon/Death Vigil Base, Fort Ikon, Coven’s Refuge, Barrowholm, Steelcap District Base and look around for NPCs who have a quest for you. It’s not that annoying and not that hard to look around for those NPCs.
