Hi, I’ve just picked up this game and been having a lot of fun so far. Been a lurker for about the past three months and done my best to familiarize myself with most of the terms/themes of the board, mainly watching the new xpac develop and been wanting to get into the game for over a year. Finally picked it up a bit over a month and a half ago and have already made a few builds. joined the Grim Dawn discord server from Reddit, and have been wanting to make a forum account so that I could contribute, give my thanks, and feedback to the dev’s and players here. Obviously thanks to the entire development team for making such a fantastic game. I’ve played a few ARPG’s like D3, Torchlight 2, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing, and yours stands well above all of them I do love Van Helsing and T2 though. The story is engaging, the visuals are beautiful, the loot is great, balancing is great, the classes and combos feel unique, honestly the only thing this game was missing imo was the ability to transmog items which you’re putting into Ashes with the Illusionist npc.
To the builder of the Gorgeous AAR Sorcerer InkOsk132, the Tri-damage Witch Hunter Jägermeister, the Bleed Warder Drizzto, and ForgottenKane for the Hardcore Survival Guide. The advice and ideas listed in your builds really helped me to learn some of the games mechanics and while I haven’t cracked into elite yet I’m really bad about juggling lots of characters at once on the games I play I have enjoyed each of the builds from the time I’ve spent playing them and look forward to finishing each one out. I hope I get to chat with some of you around the forums, maybe post some builds, and look forward to getting to better know the members community.
