So after a long break (Not by choice mind you just my room which the PC is in gets unbearably hot so for a while been on my laptop playing older games like titan quest,silverfall,and dragon age origins) I’ve tried my hand at a nightblade have 50 in it and have been killing things with blade spirit now my question is how viable is a 2h Blademaster I’ve been torn between a 2h blademaster and possibly a dw trickster but leaning more to Blademaster currently I have little experience with rogue like classes so felt I’d ask here.
Pierce 2-hander isnt really viable because for pierce 2-h build, you want 100% physical -> pierce conversion, and that’s not possible to get with 2-hander. It will be far inferior to pure physical, imo. And if you go pure physical, Nightblade is quite subpar choice, really. It shines only for pierce, cold and poison builds.
But you can try 2-handed cold build, it’s the most viable with 2-h Nightblade, by far.
…and if you would lay your hand on a witchblade, you will find a neat build from this guy above. Its one of my favorite to finish glad crucible atm 
Pierce 2 hander is definitely viable (good even!) though not as good as it’s dual wield brethren. The problem is that you need to craft a sinister prefix sword at the smith and then you want a good roll (it increases armor piercing value) and on top of that you badly need attack speed suffix 
Without such a weapon the build will suffer immensely
Cold 2 handed is good, but you need some items for it to be decent as without heavy cold conversion/flat cold your damage won’t be so good. Bare minimum you need 2h sword with cold conversion and lethal assault max. Good Alkamos sword/scythe can be quite good if you don’t have bane of the winter king. Luckily should be able to trade for one or even have someone give you on, they aren’t highly valued at all
Quite good with best items and it’s always good fun to whack shit with a giant weapon
For cold conversion, Arcanist as 2-nd mastery looks very appealing - it provides 2 abilities with phys -> cold convert (IEE and Star Pact).
I probably should make a witchblade have lots of gear for it scythe of tenebris,devil cage,and the demon leg armor though have already pushed my nightblade to 50 in the mastery granted I did that with partially delirious from lack of sleep (insomnia) and have mostly just lately been trying to work with the mistakes I made ha ha.
that DPS wouldn’t be there without Cadence. I assume Tomo is using cadence otherwise Scythe would be superior for SS
