To be fair I used it in a pierce blade arc tactician a long time ago (when cutthroat’s was meta) and by today’s standards its damage would be considered absolutely pathetic.
Can this item get at least 70% armor piercing (or at the very least 50% like brutallax)? Afaik one can’t increase its %armor piercing with anything but Blessed Whetstone, which increases the %armor piercing by 50% multiplicatively. Could also remove the phys to pierce conversion on Blade Arc then, while making it generally much more useful for and kind of pierce/bleed hybrid builds.
I use it on both Bleeding Blademaster and Goredrinker Tactician but ye, I’m all for increasing its armor piercing value, and then maybe replacing that BA mod with a more interesting one.
same goes to Reaver’s Claw, btw (with its better but still ugly 45% AP).
and Seal of Blades wins by a large margin overall. I tried 2x Whetstones vs 2 Seals on Goredrinker; while whetstones left almost no flat phys, the sustain dropped significantly.
I think I heard Berserker’s (constellation) gonna support spears as well? Because about 3-4 years ago I was suggesting to add % AP to it, but it got brushed off. Perhaps now’s the time to actually do that? (along with increasing Nightclaw’s base AP value of course; 33% is pretty ridiculous no matter how much % AP you get from other sources (which are few and far between)).
