No easy way to snipe the enemy

I am wondering if it would be a good idea to be able to hurl some missile types (phantasmal blades, forcewave, you name it) in a parabolic fashion. It would be even better if there was some sort of button combination to make a target line appearing to hurl things in a more tactical fashion, even if it was slower.

What I am trying to explain is that those missiles get stuck more often than seldom when you are not on flat terrain (I think this issue is being already investigated by Crate developers), but I would like to get advantage from some higher ground positions and be able to snipe the enemy from above, like sometimes you try to hurl missiles near a balcony and they don’t go through.

On the other hand, some enemies hurl missiles parabolically at you: Burning soldiers, acid spitting heapscrap cockroaches-like things…

PS - Of course this post isn’t about using ranged weapons. That is a different league.

Well, grenade-like skills generally work this way, even if the angle at which their projectiles are fired is flatter than e.g. that of the Burning Dead.
Making the angle steeper though would also mean that the projectile would have to travel longer, making the skills less responsive in turn.
Although I think that artillery-style skills would be fun, I don’t think it would be generally advisable to make usual spammable skills work like that as it would thus simply make them less responsive and in turn less satisfying to use as main skills.

I have found that the only thing resembling sniping the enemy is ranged cadence with maxed fighting form. :stuck_out_tongue:
