No game over?

I built my first town hall near the wolf’s den and all the settlers died.
I don’t usually do such reckless things, but I’m interested.

There was only a note saying that even if everyone died, there was not enough firewood, but there was no game over, such as development being aborted because everyone died.
If you don’t save yourself, you won’t be able to play that map again.
Do you force an autosave when you place your first Town Hall?

Yes, that’s something that probably needs to be added.

You can always make a note of the map seed and use that to play it again.

If you’re still in the map you can “Restart Map” from the Main Menu. Otherwise, the seed is noted at the very bottom of that menu. You can paste that seed into the Advanced Settings when starting a new game to get the same map, as long as you select the same map size.

It is very rare to let all the inhabitants die.
The only time I make such a mistake is when I leave my seat because it takes time to set it up.
For beginners who can’t even think of restarting, wouldn’t it be kinder to have something to guide them there?
I waited until there was no corpse left.
Do you want to restart the map? “Yes, No”
Do you want to start over from where you saved?
The purpose of this time is to want a dialogue.

If you place the town hall on a high mountain in the map below, many wolves will come and it will be easy to reproduce.

If a very sad background music is playing, the effect will increase.
