No inquisitor nerfs? Almost no nerfs????

True that i am getting exactly one thing out of it - elemental RR. that’s a piss poor reason to get an exclusive skill lol, but i am really doing this ice cold tactician build and finding all the RR i can

I think most of the OP comments about Seal of the inq come from those (still) playing in veteran or elite.
The seal is a near god mode in veteran(not the only skill that does this), okay in Elite and bit meh in ultimate in my experience.

Probably depends on your build too. My purifier can definitely notice when I don’t have my seal down, though it’s mostly in larger groups that I feel the difference.

And I agree, Inq is definitely not the most powerful spec. outside of specific dot builds, it lends more to a support role then a primary one. skills are too spread out and too many variances. traps are clunky (though some do like the playstyle), and the lack of a default skill + heavy point requirements for anything outside of their heal and seal make then sort of one sided in allot of ways.

about 85% of my builds with inquisitor use 3 things: heal, seal, and ultimate. the bulk of the builds are in the other class.

If you want the game to be harder, get a mod or make one yourself. Otherwise, fuck off. Difficulty fetishists ruin these types of games and I’m glad that Crate has at least enough sense to ignore most of your kind.

Agreed! I find the game pitched slightly too hard for my capabilities but recognise that others have more sense and strategic vision. I can generally struggle my way through ultimate and that is all that matters. I would hate to see the difficulty increase much more.

In terms of Inquisitor being overpowered…I don’t think so. I have a Mage Hunter who just hit Ultimate Act 2. AOM content was brutal in both Vet and Epic. I still don’t know if she will make it all the way through Ultimate. However she is fun and kinda walked through Act 1 so she is not irredeemable (I hope).

So far she has 65 deaths to her name. I do not believe that denotes ‘overpowered’

The most powerful builds combine soldier + inquisitor to great success. Soldier is already pushing it as a mastery, add the %heal from word of renewal, the laughable crit increase from deadly aim and the great bonuses from seal and you are pretty much unbeatable.

Its cool they buffed the possible ranged builds but most of the already super strong melee ones didn’t get toned down(they prolly even got buffed, lol).

Aren’t there enough mobile games to suit your needs?

Your opinion seems to be in the minority. What are these “most powerful builds”, or at least what you claim to be most powerful?

Just go strip your character naked and then take on the new nerfed kubacabra. You accuse Yawgmoth of being spoonfed by telling him he should go play mobile games and yet you expect Crate to spoonfeed you when the power to create your own challenges is in your own hands. If you think your build is overpowered and makes the game too easy, no one forced you to make such a build and get such strong gear for it except you.

The most common builds combine soldier and inquisitor. Soldier because it is the most powerful build, and Inquisitor, because it’s new, and has decent support. Arcanist is probably a part of that same conversation due to its support. I’m not sure Inquisitor is that powerful yet. It’s just new, so everyone is experimenting with it.

Meanwhile, you’ve played exactly 1 character by the sound of all your posts. You might try playing some other builds and get a better idea. You seem to think your character is OP, while also complaining about mobs you are unable to kill.

Game balance is interesting. There is a fine line between being able to succeed and not being able to. It is surprising that some very small changes in a build can switch you to the wrong side of that line. In your quest to make your DoT build challenged, you end up making a lot of others not capable of making it.

If you feel you need more challenge, just go back to failing in the Crucible.

Please stop, you’re just embarrassing yourself. Post your build at grimtools and lets people see how “OP” your build.

LMFAO typical inquisitor abuser here. “Deadly aim is strong no doubt b-b-but not s-s-sure if its op. Inquisitor is strong fer sur guys I d-d-ont think its op”

why do people do this shit? bias is disgusting

This guy is just a sad troll seeking attention from people, by pretenting he is a “pro”, just because he made some DoT build (one of the most broken build types in this game) and facerolled ultimate, and was trying to convince people that the game was pretty easy.

Don’t waste your time with this gutter trash,as nothing he says is true, or relevant.

Agreed. They should split the bonuses of seal of inq between itself and Will of the Crypt.

Why do you guys care so much if something is OP? Single player game. Just enjoy it.

The seal is not OP. Deadly Aim is good, but so is every other OA increasing thing. It’s up 50% of the time at best

Inquisitor doesn’t have a buff you can turn on for OA/crit % like almost every other class in the game. They have this instead.

Abuser? Pray tell how is one “abusing” a single player game?

You need to be more specific, which are the super strong melee builds? Which are the top builds in your opinion?

  • to mute that troll (Bustar). Really guys I’m tired of his trollish posts. Gtfo i would politely say to you Bustar

Maybe you should try hardcore if the game is too easy?

I love how the OP’s metrics for calling the Inquisitor “OP”, is because of the Soldier + Inquisitor combo, World of Renewal (Because Blood of Dreeg doesn’t exists), Inquisitor Seal (flat damage absorption is almost irrelevant on Ultimate) and Deadly Aim (a buff that is only good if you can crit frequently, e.g have around 2800-3k OA or more)…

It’s almost as if the OP is begging for people to not take him seriously at all.

You guys realize you have to stand on top of the seal for it to work right? I quite often forget to even drop it. If they listen to weird players crying that Inquisitor is OP on Normal we’ve got bigger problems lol.

Think of inquisitor as an alternative to soldier, it’s about time we had a class that can synergize with many other classes well. It opens up more possibilities for people who don’t want to have soldier in every build.
