What happens. I’ve been noticing for 2 or 3 years I haven’t been recieving any tax income. The popup is there, it tells me how much I was supposed to get (some 3000g) but my balance stays the same.
I got suspicious and recorded what happens.

  • Market’s “produced last year” doesn’t update (half my residencies went t3 since last update to this value)
  • Gold count says the same
  • There is plenty of space for the gold because I’ve got an empty vault
  • There is a large sum of money sitting in my trading post (but not town storage)

Save file exceeds forum size limit.

Forgot to include that I suspect the trait “Convenience Tax” to be responsible because I stopped recieving tax income around the time I picked it.

The number (3000 Gold) is a summary of taxes earned in the past year, and not a lump sum you get at the end of the year.

Look at your gold summary in the top right for the monthly breakdown.
